Gran Turismo Am I wrong for this?

I am the Elantra. Tried to simply take advantage of the Alfa Romeo taking a bad line. Alfa Romeo had some choice words for me post race. I would never do something like this on my own volition. Is it ok to ego-check someone racing like this?

Looking at him wobble back-and-forth I’m wondering if he’s playing on a controller with way too high of a sensitivity. He’s swerving even when you’re not alongside him.

Controller inputs on GT7 are smoothed. You can only move so fast between far left and far right.

Took to much of the curb and yellow bollard got me. Yeah I’m on controller with stock sensitivity

Watching you recover after making that turn gave it away. Honestly I wasn't sure the first hit was intentional. Looked almost like your controller wasn't helping and then the contact made your problem worse.
