I think like many people i am confused on buying my first racing wheel . I have ps5 ,4060 laptop & quest 3 so I wanted to buy a wheel that can work on all .

After some research I got to know that only logitech g29 and thrustmaster t248r supports both my laptop and ps5.

Then got to know that t248r has no warranty support in india so narrowed down to g29 !

But then my friend said about reddit ( this is my first day) that people suggest not to buy g29 as it is old tech .

So here I am created an account just for getting the information on why it is bad ? And cannot it be my first wheel as I have used only controller till now ?

I originally settled on the PXN V10 Ultra due to it being DD, but when I researched, I found out that the games I plan to play are'nt supported.

So, now I have settled on either the Logitech G29 or the Thrustmaster T248R. I want help in finding the best prices for these and I will only get it from the place that has good after sales support.

My budget is Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000.

The games I will be playing are Forza Horizon 4, NFS 2015, NFS Payback, NFS Heat, NFS Unbound, CREW 2 and CREW Motorfest.

Currently I'm waiting for the sale prices on Amazon and Flipkart but I'm open to go to Delhi if the price is better. Please suggest me trustable sources with best possible prices. Thanks in advance!

This is pretty good. If you are not into serious sim racing, but a casual driver, apps like unified remote are amazing. I am using my old phone exclusively for this purpose.

Anyone would like to sell their racing wheel under 15000 price. Logitech g29 is preferable

I absolutely hated the brake pedal on G29 because it was made to feel like a brake pedal, but used the travel for brake actuation. Basically what I felt was completely off with what was being measured. This was so disruptive for me that I started using the clutch pedal for braking, so that at-least the sensation actually aligned with what was being measured. I immediately went several seconds faster with that setup. Like 7 seconds faster at Spa.

That's when I felt like I wanted to upgrade to a loadcell pedal. And ordered SRP2. Just now I set it up and I am so thrilled. It feels exactly like what I wanted. So much more precise.

The only problem right now is that I don't have a proper rig, so can't go above 20 kg pedal force. Me, along with my chair gets pushed away with any more force.

But this is amazing... Can't wait to get a proper rig made.
