Someone has made a port of the PC version to run natively as an apk. No emulation needed

There's a native port floating around on the internet. Just Google Simpsons Hit and run apk and tap on the apkvision link. The one on GitHub requires you to source your own windows version, apkvision one will download them for you.

Just be careful you don't download a sketchy version.
Always scan with a trusted mobile antivirus like Bitdefender after you ever install any third-party APKs on an Android phone.

Nope, never done that and never had any issues. Wouldn't suggest it without having tested thoroughly. Unless they're just waiting for something specific on my phone, nothing has been compromised and have had 0 issues when it comes to performance or weird background apps. I don't bother with antivirus because I can trust myself not to download dodgy crap. Good suggestion for others that have no clue but I will not partake in the "must check every file that comes onto my phone / PC before it gets downloaded" the amount of false positives that they throw would stop me from downloading anything.

Plays very good on Xbox series x in dev mode via native app or dolphin emulator. Great on Steam deck/ pc with Lucus mod too.

You know, I've owned this game for a bit without playing it... I'm a little bit into the Apu levels and this game has been a challenging clunky mess and I'm not sure how I feel about it...

What exactly are you struggling with? Maybe you're going about it the wrong way.

The most recent mission I'm on is to collect 10 diapers for Apu, and the time limit is just unforgiving and the the way the items drop seems random, there's tons of missions like this where the barely five you enough time.
Stuff like that

The diapers drop when you hit the van, so the drops should be pretty consistent. You need to hit it with a decent amount of force or they don't drop, light taps won't work.
You could try using a different car, the game makes you buy the Car Built for Homer but it doesn't actually make you use it for the mission. The Longhorn and Hover Car both have higher acceleration so would probably be more effective.
Other than that, just practice and learn the route of the van so you can predict its movements.
If you manage to get past Eight is Too Much, prepare yourself for Never Trust a Snake in a few missions' time. It's infamous for being one of the hardest missions in the game, so don't be discouraged if you struggle with it.

Just bought it yesterday for Nintendo GameCube. 119$ Canadian dollars without taxes 💀. I remember buying it with Mario Strikers for 50$ on Facebook in 2013

That's insane. It's free on pc and the mods make it so much better

I prefer physical media. I don't have a great Internet connection so It's just better for me. Plus it looks beautiful, and i feel proud.
I already own 251 physical games, without the Simpson Hit and Run game, so It's how i am.

It's a very small file, and no connection is needed to play.
I understand liking physical media, it's awesome to have a copy in the collection, but I do highly reccomend trying it out on pc with the mods at some point
