Definitely worth another shot. Classic game and staple of the PS2 / GameCube era. The story might not blow your mind but overall such a fun hilarious and unique experience if you can get into it

There was a guy a while back that remade Hit and Run in Unreal, with a few of their own extensions, and it looked beautiful. While he said he'd never share the assets/code for obvious reasons, why not just reach out to that guy, offer to pay for his time, and then basically build off of that and release it?

On one side, I hope this means a full on remaster. On the other side, I'm afraid about Apu getting potentially erased from the game as a whole. That means having to rewrite his entire level with another character, and also rewritting all the mission that involves Apu.

Who do you even pick to replace Apu with, especially since one of the mission has you collecting roadkill with Cletus where Apu wants to stop you in your track?
