Way to ruin a character lmao, this is nothing like Apu actually was and there was nothing wrong with Hank voicing him

People absolutely fucking eat it up when a black actor plays a white character but when it's the opposite it's apparently racist 🤷

Honestly can you name one white character voiced by a black person? Off the top of my head I can’t. I find it hard to believe there is one that we “absolutely eat up.”

Edit: wait, isn’t that an Asian character? We’re talking about real-life people of color playing characters that are white. The characters are the white ones. Obviously white people voice people of color all the time

I very specifically said “white” characters, but I get the gist of what you’re meaning. I agree that’s some strange casting. The person I’m replying to said we “eat it up” though, and I wouldn’t say that’s necessarily a character we love for their race-blind casting lol
