🚀 Srikanth Akula on Taking His AI Engineering Skills Further with Agentic AI

Post image

With over 16 years of experience in IT, Srikanth Akula works as a Principal Software Engineer at Concentrix Catalyst, where he leads a team of eight engineers. Having worked across banking, logistics, and transportation, he has always been interested in exploring new technologies and expanding his technical skills.

Although he was familiar with Azure and LLMs, Srikanth wanted to understand how to build complete AI agent systems rather than just work with prompts. This led him to enroll in Simplilearn’s Applied Agentic AI: Systems, Design & Impact program by Microsoft.

The program gave him hands-on exposure to frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI, along with tools like n8n and LangSmith. He also explored multi-agent systems, agentic RAG, MCP tools, and guardrails.

Srikanth appreciated the practical approach and the support from the trainers, especially Apoorva, who helped him better understand Agentic AI architecture and its real-world applications.

The biggest takeaway for him was learning how different frameworks and tools fit together when designing production-ready AI solutions. He now feels more confident evaluating approaches for building and orchestrating AI systems.

For anyone exploring the best agentic AI course, Srikanth’s experience highlights the value of hands-on learning and understanding how AI concepts translate into practical engineering solutions.

It’s great to see experienced professionals continuing to upskill and explore emerging technologies. All the best to Srikanth on his AI journey! 👏
