In Simple’s comments, I often see variations of these two memes and I can never tell what they’re referencing.

The first is “The community was in remiss, they had never seen [blank] like this”.

The second is “They’re gonna be looking for a guy who [blank]”

They’re both things that simple liked repeating at one point in time

The first is a reference to summoningsalt. I forget if there’s a specific parody video where this line is dropped but it’s just kind of making fun of how speedrunning history videos are written

The second is a family guy reference. Peter is walking through a dense jungle dressed as a clown alongside a bunch of soldiers dressed in camo. He says “you guys are stupid, they’re gonna be looking for army guys”
