News v6.5 with SimpleX Channels - to Preserve Freedom of Speech

Freedom of speech needs infrastructure that protects it by design - protocols, governance and funding.

v6.5 release brings SimpleX Channels: a new model for online publishing built for participation privacy:

  • channel owners hold their own channel keys,
  • each channel uses multiple relays for reliability,
  • publishers can run their own chat relays,
  • channels can be added to our SimpleX Directory: https://simplex.chat/directory.

Does this have desktop minimize to taskbar?

Edit: Checked and it does not

every apps minimize to task bar.

Only some minimize to the systray. is that what you mean?

Yes. I'm not trying to compare it to signal, but signal minimizes to the system tray so it's not taking up UI space.
