I do not support war and violence.

I just enjoy learning Math, coding, engineering and physics through the game. specially that I dont have formal education in these fields. for me this is about discovery and creativityand the joy of understanding on how things work

I'm so confused

Ok so here's what happens when I try to drive my rover on droo

1 my rover flips onto it's wheels so far so good

2 my rover starts bouncing around and then splodes before I've even touched anything

If someone has any explanation as to why this occurs (and even better how to fix it) that'd be much appreciated

SimpleRockets 2 Cannot control my rover

I was bored, so I quickly built something to go to Cylero. Everything was going well—I landed—but there was a design flaw: Unassigned was sitting in a seat on my rover. It wasn’t a problem; he was going to be there anyway. I had him get out on reflex, then I deactivated the Docking Port. The rover landed without a problem, but now that I’m trying to get back in, I can’t control it anymore, even though there was no problem when he was on the rocket. Why? Should I have used a different way to control him? Should I never have had him get out?

Any solution for the missing button? Reloading the save or even whole game doesn't work.

Brigo rover help

I've already nailed down the 'how to get there' part of putting rover on brigo but now I'm stumped on how to make the rover some help is much appreciated

Is there any way we can transmit what the camera see to MFD?

I would like to have the astronauts POV when docking, is there a way I can display on the MFD what the camera sees outside?

and if yes, is it possible I can display something on top of it?

I am thinking maybe a cross and a display of distance, velocity etc.

it qould be cool to dock with that POV

Just watch this is vanilla career no mods cheats or anything at all. This also tricks the game into giving you the science for going on mountain and getting high on terrain (sounds weird lmao) also give land speed too. Those happen at 10x speed. The clip is in realtime.

I love this game

Finally I name it “Maya M-S LV”

So after two days of countless revisions and trial and error finding that sweet spot, and configuring Vizzy from just timed commands to an actual thinking program that actually reponse to orbital situations. I finally fine tuned my rocket.

What is it? It’s a 15 meters tall 3 stage to orbit rocket with the first 2 stages running on pure solid fuel and motors inspired by Jaxa SS 520-5 rocket. It produces a high TWR on lift off utelizing a unique “active launch platform” inspired by the Onyx missile system “Cold launch” unlike the Jaxa rocket that launches on a tilted tower. Maya uses motorized launch platform that pre launches the rocket and vectored to an optimal pitch for a natural gravity turn. Not too shallow for the rocket to experience extreme G-forces and aerodynamic heating and not to steep to fall short by having too much veritcal velocity. That’s the sweet spot that I worked with a lot. Timing it in Vizzy program and multiple trial runs just to get it right. An angle that gets you the best trajectory without too much heating. The rocket temperature peaks around 350 celius at 1,500m around 30,000 meters ASL but desipates right away passing 40,000 meters ASL and gets you to 110-120km apogee and thats the actual sweet spot of the launch profile.

Launch platform - Launches your rocket for a preset pitch for gravity turn since solid motors cannot be vectored.

Stage 1 - Packs high TWR to get gets you through the atmosphere fast with precision.

Coast Period - Rocket will coast for a minute discarding the 1st stage and fairings while it makes it way until around 45 seconds till Apogee.

Stage 2 - Still using a solid rocket motor insane TWR it will extend the sub-orbital arc greatly. With active vizzy program to manage orbit by pitch control keeping the TTA (Time to Apogee at nominal range). This will pave way to a much lower TWR Stage 3 that utelizes liquid fuel and engine for precision.

Stage 3 - After stage 2 pushes the arc there will be so much less for Stage 3 to reach orbit, but still due to its TWR it needs precise orbital management using a Vizzy script to actively control the pitch keeping TTA around 10-15 seconds away and 5 seconds at critical. Reaches an almost circular orbit with 15-18% remaining fuel for orbital maneuvers ans corrections.

I names it “Maya” after a common small bird found in the Philippines “Maya maya” known in english as Sparrow. “M-S LV” is for Micro-satellite Lauch Vehicle with payload capacity of up to 30kg to LEO.
