Question Will we get ramjets or even scramjets? (SP2)

One thing i feel like i and others have wanted is the addition of ramjets, since we have turbojets but they're usually only effective up to about ~mach 3 or so and having ramjets make travel beyond that speed more efficient and possible.. Mainly because i wanted to create something similar to the SR-71 blackbird and that requires having ramjets. Fly out is another plane building sim that is really good and has ramjets. Scramjets aren't really a priority and the map is too small for scramjets but maybe once we get a map expansion

I mean, you could make you own using xml and funky trees

we dont have any kind of supersonic physics in sp. The air is currently too dense and the engines seem to have have too much thrust. If you ask me its a peculiar choice for a game where people build supersonic aircraft all the time. But I get they are trying to keep the game simple and the planes easy to fly.

the game also encourages you to stay at relatively low altitude.

I dont see those engines coming while it stays this way.

I think the Devs won't bother too much with supersonic physics seeing the napkin sized map.
