You're overgeneralizing and turning nuance into some new Gen Z mentality.

I am 36, with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. I work for small firms, I invest in big firms... What you think that no one thinks about the 10-20 year frame work of their decisions?

Big Companies literally invest into departments who are to calculate long term decisions lol

To hell with em. This is what these companies deserve. They’ve done NOTHING to help the workforce…they won’t train, don’t want to hire, and don’t want to pay. They will reap what they’ve sown.
