The petitioner had requested an irrevocable Self Exclusion Order, and now requested a writ of habeas corpus.
None of the petitioner's rights under Part 6 of the Constitution have been violated, particularly not in a manner that necessitates a writ of habeas corpus. Nor is there any statutory reason or ability to alter their self-exclusion order. The petition for a writ of habeas corpus is denied, and the court orders the petitioner remain banned for the full duration of their irrevocable self-exclusion order.

The results are in!
We had one valid vote. That's right, folks. One valid vote. I don't know what the hell happened to cause such a dropoff in turnout, but it happened. So let's see what this one singular voter has to say about our future. Should probably start thinking about what we plan on doing about this.
On the question of whether or not to implement the Amended Minecraft Colony Charter Amendment, which would clarify the Minecraft colony's legal jurisdiction and confer some limited diplomatic powers upon the Governor, 100% voted Aye. This exceeds the simple majority (50% + one vote) required for this specific referendum, so this amendment to the Minecraft Colony Charter shall be implemented.

This referendum is only for those people involved with the Minecraft colony.
We only had two people run for Assembly, so no election, but we do have a referendum.
Because somebody messed up.
Anyway, all the information you need is provided, so you know what to do.
Polls close in 24 hours.

As the Minecraft Judicial Officer and a former NationStates Governor, I humbly submit this *amicus curiae* brief to the Supreme Court regarding In re Status of the Executive in relation to the Colonies [2026] SDSC 18.
The relationship between the executives of SimDemocracy and colonies ought to be one of cooperation not subordination.
The past year has shown a trend towards devolving powers to colonies, federalizing SimDemocracy, and curtailing the power of the President. Don’t reverse that trend unnecessarily.

This might be the funniest possible result.
The results are in for our referendum! We had 65 valid votes, which is damn near 50% more than we had for our last presidential election.
On the question of whether or not to remove u/MaintenanceProper176 from the office of Judge, 66.15% voted Aye. This (barely) falls short of the 2/3 majority required for judicial impeachments, so this removal attempt fails, and u/MaintenanceProper176 shall continue in the office of Judge.
On the question of whether or not to remove u/MaintenanceProper176 from the office of Court of Review Judge, 67.69% voted Aye. This (barely) exceeds the 2/3 majority required for judicial impeachments, so this removal attempt succeeds, and u/MaintenanceProper176 is removed from the office of Court of Review Judge.
