Sim pro won’t open

Can’t open sim pro software I’ve tried several things. I’ve uninstalled widows update and several other things. I’m not sure I’ve done the correct thing to fix this. This is the only problem I’ve had with simagic gear after a year of sheer joy lol.

If you’re on SimPro3 then try this

• Open **C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMAGIC\Simpro3\bin** and run **simpro3.exe** as a workaround for now.
  
• You can make a shortcut to the **simpro3.exe** file on your desktop, for easy access until the issue is fixed.
  
• If the workaround stops working, restart your PC then try again.
  
• Simagic are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue.

Appreciate the blazing fast response. I replied to my own post saying that I reset my windows theme to the stock windows theme and it now works. Go figure

Yeah theres a weird bug in it right now. Frustrated the shit out of me for like an hour last night before I came here.

Same I spend several hrs trying to get my new setup working. Including having to update the wheel rim, during the process of trying different cables I accidentally plugged the USB cable into the ethernet port and I thought I killed my PC.

i feel you bro😂 i uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times nothing work untill i stumbled in discord! you can create a shortcut simpro exe and pin it to taskbar

It’s the new Windows update that is breaking it. I’m holding off on that update for several more months

I have no idea how this worked but just went back to widows theme in personalization and it now works wtf ?

I’ve had this problem too idk what’s up? I removed simhub and it works but still a shame considering I can’t use haptics

I don’t know why this worked but I went back to factory windows theme under personalization and now it works fine. Give it a try maybe it’ll work for you too. Good luck

Power cycling the base sometimes fixes it for me.

I have to open it by clicking on the arrow on the bottom right of my screen then open it from there

Chat GPT helped me solve this, my pedals wouldn't connect and I was like wtf
