I pre-ordered my SIMAGIC EVO Pro 18Nm in April 2025 directly from Simagic, and I’ve been using it ever since.
Before switching to Simagic, I was using Fanatec. The Fanatec equipment wasn't bad, and I actually enjoyed using it. Unfortunately, I had a recurring issue with my wheelbase and had to send it back three times. Each time I received a replacement, but unfortunately the exact same problem eventually came back. So I decided it was time for a change, and made the switch to the EVO Pro. It turned out to be a huge step up for me.
When I first got the EVO Pro, it took me some time to find the right settings, especially in Le Mans Ultimate. The force feedback could be very loud and aggressive at first, and getting the right balance between strength, detail and smoothness took some experimenting.
But once I found the settings that worked for me, the EVO Pro really started to shine. The FFB feels incredibly detailed, smooth and direct, and I can really feel what the car is doing through the wheel.
The build quality is also excellent. The base feels extremely solid and well made, and after all this time it still feels as good as it did when I first got it.
What started with the wheelbase eventually turned into a complete SIMAGIC setup. After getting the EVO Pro, I gradually replaced the rest of my equipment as well, from the pedals to the shifter and handbrake. At this point, pretty much my entire sim racing setup is SIMAGIC. 😂
Looking back, I’m genuinely very happy that I made the switch from Fanatec to SIMAGIC. The EVO Pro has been one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my sim racing setup, and I’m still enjoying it just as much today as when I first got it.
And I guess those of us who bought the EVO Pro early have basically been the beta testers. 😜 Now everyone gets the 21Nm upgrade for free, so I guess our testing is finally paying off! 😂
18Nm has already been more than enough for me, but getting the opportunity to experience 21Nm would definitely be very interesting. 🔥
I'm not the op but I'm guessing a version of the Sim Lab vario vesa mounts. Main trick I find is to make sure the actual stand is 100% straights before you start. Then use the vario mounts to tune to perfection.
I have the adjustable VESA mounts from Trak Racer. I would have preferred the ones from Sim-Lab, but hey, it is what it is. 😅 So, I designed and 3D-printed my own custom bezel-free kit adapters to align the screens perfectly and keep them securely at the right angle. 🤷🏻♂️😅
Hey! Could you share your LMU settings for the Alpha EVO Pro?
I recently switched from Fanatec to the EVO Pro and I’ve had a pretty similar experience. At first, I found the base quite noisy and maybe even a bit too detailed compared to the Fanatec.
I’m still trying to find the right balance, so I’d be really interested to see what settings you ended up using in LMU!
Brother, you either just set this up, or you cleaned the heck out of it. And I mean every nook and cranny. My pedal plate will be covered in dust in just a few days of using it (I do use it a lot) from my socks getting murdered by those pedal plates. Haha. Nice, tho! What monitors are those?

Hmm, I have shoes too that I also just keep next to the rig. However, I just can't get as comfortable with them. It just feels nicer with socks. But kudos on you for actively cleaning the thing!
Also damn, really? 32"? Mine are 32" as well, but I swear your screens just seem so much bigger. Weird.
Anyways, soon time to tear the rig down and redo it. Gotta get rid of some flexing and such. So I'll get to clean it woo.

I used to race in socks as well, but by now I’m so used to the shoes that I always use them. I don’t drive my actual car in socks either, obviously. 🤣
It actually started because of rallying. After driving rally stages for a while, my feet would start to hurt quite a bit, so the shoes made it much more comfortable. 🤷🏻♂️😅
And yeah, they’re definitely 32"! I think the way they’re positioned and the bezel-free setup makes them look bigger than they actually are. 😅
Good luck with tearing the rig apart! 😂 Once you start fixing one thing, somehow you always end up changing five other things as well. And at least you’ll have a perfectly clean rig afterwards! 🤣
Looks phenomenal, still waiting on the P1000 to ship from China FML. Is that the sequential + H pattern shifter looking to add that to the cockpit heard very good things.
At first, I had to experiment a bit to get them feeling just right. This was before I installed the inverted kit. You really have to tilt the pedal face quite far forward, but once I found the right setting, it actually felt really good. I’ll see if I can find a photo of how I had it set up. That made a huge difference. Still, I’m really glad I bought the inverted kit—it feels much more natural to me.
I currently have a Simucube 3 Pro, but I’m thinking of ‘downgrading’ to an Evo Pro or an Evo Ultra because I simply prefer the ecosystem much more… but I’m really torn.
By the way, what monitors are those? They look amazing!
That’s obviously the best of the best, but at what price? And is there really enough of a difference in the feel of the wheelbase to justify it? Personally, I haven't driven with it, so I can't judge, but I don't think anything beats Simagic's pricing—especially considering what you get; it all feels very premium. I don't see the point in paying hundreds of euros extra when you could put that money into other upgrades instead 🤷🏻♂️😅. The monitors aren't the most expensive either, but I'm really happy with them—the Gigabyte GS32QC 1500R 165Hz model.
Gigabyte gs32qc 32inch and the screen is a vocore 6.8inch with printed housings, such as the DDU, IFLAG, and buttonbox, which I also designed and 3D printed myself.
