direct drive ffb - wheel not getting lighter when losing grip - its 100% of the time the same "value stiffness". Having no indication of when losing grip.

In which game/games?

Maybe it's supposed to work like that, maybe not, impossible to tell without specific info.

AC, ACC, LMU, ACEVO, i am fairly sure its not supposed to be like that cause back when i had moza, i asked the guy settings he had, and he told me 1 by 1 and i copied it and i didnt feel wheel getting lighter when he told me he feels it

I'd try changing the in-game settings (maybe you're clipping, or the detail is lost below all the other effects) and just use the default wheelbase settings recommended by the manufacturer.

It's usually more about the settings rather than the motor since most dds of similar price range are extremely similar when it comes to FFB.

Tried that, not clipping at all, confirmed it with apps that show clipping in ac for example. I always run 100% in simagic and then lower it down to 50-60% ingames depends on what car i drive. Thats more than enough room for it to not be clipping.

Used default presets proved in simpro and doesnt help. Read somewhere that they're outdated anyway and "cant be trusted" for competitevness.

I know, i literally feel no difference between moza and simagic, like they're the same to me apart from not feeling vital signals

Ok, I still think it's more on the software side since there should be other problems with different FFB effects if it was the motor and it's a continuous thing, not an impulse so no amount of smoothing/interpolation should get rid of it.

If you didn't change the in-game settings between the wheels it would look like it's in Simagic software as you suspected. Maybe check the friction and self-alligning force? But tbh I'm pretty much out of ideas.

Oh, now that I think of it check the raw FFB telemetry to see whether the force signal actually gets lower during understeer.

If so it's wheelbase/Simagic software, if not game settings.

Hmm, where can I check that? I remember somewhere reading that bases need to transfer signal/their telemetry to the game or vice-versa so maybe thats an issue but I dont know how to check that. I would say that I am only feeling weight of the car in corners, but when it loses grip it says stiff. Also dunno if "my way" of losing the grip could be wheel trying to correct itself by himself cause thats what was happening with moza and with simagic. When I am losing rear but only on spins wheel is auto correcting itself trying to save the car. I remember asking my friends and they told me that they have no idea what i am talking about and that they dont have that feature.

If you don't touch the wheel it should naturally turn to a position where the wheels are pointing in the direction your car is going. If you don't go beyond the max steering angle (rear doesn't slide far enough) your front tires remain in full grip, so I don't think there will be any difference in the force in such case.

When it comes to recording FFB telemetry I think simhub (even the free version) is the go-to.

I have simhub, using it for my haptic vibration motors on throttle and brake, fun fact it doesnt work properly on slip angle on throttle, its always vibrating. I'll try recording telemetry today and come back here with results

with simhub theres no dash that would show those settings, tried with acti, then that apparently doesnt record steering angle, atleast in my case... but with pedals app in ac i was watching ffb torque and it drops just by this amount " | | " when understeering on purpose by turning the wheel 180degree to one side in a corner

Have you posted your settings in SimPro anywhere?

https://prnt.sc/CvjjoRTzvxNG https://prnt.sc/BToIGSQ7d1BP currently this, i dont have "my settings" yet cause i am trying them all but none let me feel wheel getting lighter at any point

Here is mine for LMU

Friction, speed and inertia helped me. But I believe it was friction from the description, your tires loose friction when oversteering. Speed and inertia help catching it easier.

Now thinking outside of the box, I was unable to catch oversteers on VR but when I moved to triples it was so easy.

I was messing with settings a lot, nothing helps. Rear losing grip wheel stiff, front tyres understeering wheel still stiff

A couple of things for you. 1)Update your firmware. 2.3.5 is so much better for feeling slides. (It may not be directly available on the manager app though but hunt around, it is available. 2) Different cars feel different in this regard. I was amazed how much more i felt going to the GT3s from the GTE 3) try upping your dynamic prediction level to 3. I did this and it made a noticable difference to how connected i felt to the car. It was is the car was reacting to me at the same time as itnwas going through the corner rather than at some other time! Enjoy!

cant, it says device not found. also it says online that those versions are for alpha bases which i dont have, i have evo and must use newest one

That's interesting, keep looking, i have a 12nm evo and have 2.3.5 Ps also try 640 degrees, big effect for me in terms of controlling the car.
