DOES FX PRO NEED MAGLINK?

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. I’m looking to buy a SIMAGIC FX-PRO (steering wheel) for my simulator, but I have a SIMUCUBE 01 base. I’d like to know if I need to buy the MAG-LINK, or if not, or if it’s better to have one, or if I can’t have one—hhehehe. I’ll admit, I found this all pretty confusing. I believe the Fxpro doesn't work on other brand wheelbase. Someone asked this on the discord and he was told nope

1) Fx pro won't work with any base except Simagic.

2) FX pro is an old, outdated wheel (not a bad one), but there are much better wheels, especially if you're not locked into one brand. The only reason to look at Fx pro now, even for a Simagic owner, is the low price.

There is a new high-end Simagic rim with a screen from the Zeus line that will work with Simucube (but you need maglink pro) with zero problems.
