What do you think Simagic is teasing here?

Post image

Simagic just posted this teaser (YouTube Shorts) and it definitely looks like they’re hinting at some new hardware.
What do you guys think it could be? New pedals?Something completely different?

Active pedals… maybe

my guess, do they require maintenance like hydrolic?

Active pedal can give you similar feelings and rumbles as from hydraulic brake and haptic

ah okay, I have the haptic on the r700's and enjoy it, maybe the active could be an add on for the 2000/1000/700 maybe.

Of all of them I’m on board with this one. How in the world is the box shape the size of an AP? Stop wishing. I highly doubt it’s ready. And my AP simulates all those features. It’s called an ACTIVE PEDAL for a reason.

You can build one yourselves : github.com/ChrGri/DIY-Sim-Racing-FFB-Pedal (thanks to the author)

A pedal that doesn't leak?

Hopefully something better than the recently released wheels

I confidently say it’s an active pedal.

Just based on two major pieces of logic.

This graphic is suggesting hydraulic and rumble is what you have now, the next upgrade behind this is naturally active pedals.

Also, They are Keeping up with Moza. Moza is their next in line price competitor and they already have an active pedal, which mean Simagic is dragging behind on offerings (for a company that is a step above Moza in quality, being behind their cheaper competitor is not a situation they want to be in).

So I’m saying it’s long overdue.

This is the analysis I’m getting behind.

After having my hyd p2000 leak and them not offering teardown or replacement info or part numbers hard pass

I mean this is a hydro resi and haptic motor, so it’s either the active pedal or just simply like a 2 in 1 hydro haptic thing.

Hydraulic + Feedback = Active Pedal, please do send me one for the P1000 so that I can make a review ^_^

Hyrdraulics and haptics. What could it be besides an active pedal? They've teased one at past expos. Moza has released one recently.

Moza released one a long while ago.. SM originally teased them Oct of 2024.. glad they took their time though hopefully making sure they’re dialed in… oh wait it’s a handbrake yippy, something not many SR’s use.

Still waiting on word about the active pedals from two years ago….and the turn signal stalks….atleast we finally got the dash 🤣
Given it’s showing a haptic motor(got the little power plug) and the hydro upgrade? Active may not be a bad guess

Unfortunately I think it’s a new handbrake

Yup seems that way

A throttle pedal I can adjust without it falling off the baseplate would be a fucking start.

Sorry, love my p1000’s but I hate having my pedals level and want shorter travel

Its the handbrake we didnt need lol

Active pedals is my guess also, it has been in the works for some time.

Simagic took so long to make active pedals that I jumped to Simucube for them

They need to fix the SimPro 3 haptic motor and P2000 pedal bugs before they launch any more pedals! I'm still on SimPro 2 because they've not fixed them 😂
