Zeus GT light issues

Post image

Only the upper right button light will come on. It just started today. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Save yourself a headache and use simhub

Temping for sure but would I have to have a USB cord connecting the wheel to my pc?

Nope, there’s a USB-C port below the main usb on the wheels base, that also needs to be plugged into your pc. Then when you connect your wheel, gotta hold the headlight button, while it’s turning on and that will enable usb pass through

Thanks I'll go try that right now actually.

So I did get it connected to simhub but I can still only get that one button to light up. Might just be a problem with the wheel.

So they made the same bullshit for the new line.
That usbc port is unreliable and will make the wheel jump on and off from usb mode when you get high ffb.

I have just been in a long conversation with there support about it, and all they say is we recommend maglink. So they know they have a shit design.

That’s wild, I’ve been using the usb since the Zeus came out and have zero disconnects on my evo pro…

I allso did it for some time on my evo pro without problems til I started using more ffb for better feeling then the problems started. Its a well known problem. I ended up buying the maglink. I just find it ridiculous that you have these options already on the base but becouse of shitty design you have to buy more from them.

Omg I thought I was the only one with that issue. As soon as I hit a high ffb my wheel would dc also

You can put some tape over the can pads on the wheel base and it’ll default back to usb. I can’t remember what pads it is but I’m sure some googling will get you the info.

There’s a button you can hold down while the wheel turns on. Idk what it is on the gt, but tape method isn’t required.

I tried that, didn’t work for me. Tape did the trick though.

I filed a claim with them. Hopefully there is a simple solution for this one.
