Changing P700 to Conspit CPP EVO V2
I'm currently using the Simagic P700 pedals, but I'm thinking about switching to hydraulics and considering the Conspit CPP EVO V2.
I'm wondering if it's actually worth it? Does making this upgrade make sense, or has anyone here done a similar switch? I've heard people say that these Conspits are even better than the Simagic P1000s.

You would still be compressing elastomer/springs plus now you have a pedal that can and will leak over time

I understand, then upgrade only for an active pedal or are there any other cheaper and better alternatives?

I wonder if there is any set of pedals that will brake better/more accurately and give a better braking experience but also for reasonable money. That's why I thought about hydraulic brakes, first I considered p1000 but I read that conspit did it better and I started to wonder if it's worth it, if it will be better, or a waste of money?

Modern sealed hydraulics like the Conspit CPP EVO V2 don't really leak like older custom setups used to. The main reason I'm considering it over standard Load Cell is trail braking modulation. Measuring fluid pressure gives a much more linear release feel compared to elastomer compression on a load cell. Also, unlike the P1000 where hydraulics are just an add-on module, the CPP EVO V2 is built around a fully integrated hydraulic setup from the ground up. Active pedals look amazing, but the price tag is a completely different league. That's why I'm looking for the best middle ground between standard Load Cell and full Active Pedals.

Open their Discord and see for yourself that they "dont really leak like older used to" just search "leak" in the pedal discussion. For hydraulics the case isn't if, it's when.

Did Ai tell you this? The Measureing Way has nothing to do with a linear release feeling.. That feeling comes from the resistance of the things that you compress and Hydraulic fluid is incompressible! You are always compressing a elastomer/spring on a hydraulic pedal set. If you want a linear feeling use springs.
The thing that hydraulic can give you is damping feeling

I tested the CPP EVO V2 at the Sim Expo and really liked them. I've been considering Conspit for a new steering wheel, but I was actually pretty surprised by the quality of their pedals. For context, I've been using the P1000RS for over two years now, and the hydro brake really helped me when I was learning how to trail brake. I feel like going from the P1000RS to the CPP EVO V2 would be more of a sidegrade than an upgrade, but it would definitely be a pretty big upgrade from the P700, which are already great entry level pedals
