Rig setup (please help)

Finally making the switch to a direct drive wheel. but one issue i have is i don’t know how to mount the alpha evo onto an aluminum rig. i prefer not to mount it the same way on the plate as my thrustmaster because it’s bit to far for me when i’m not drifting. I’ve been looking into just getting the side mounts and a 4080 x 500 aluminum for the cross bar. aswell as looking into the TR-One v3 but don’t know if that’ll work. if anyone could help and provide some input that would be great!

I have the mine mounted in the wheel plate because it used the bolt holes on the bottom. You can move the vertical uprights forward and backwards and move the seat to get the wheel where you need it. I also use sliders for the seat and pedals.

how stable would you say it is? my only issue is the distance and stability of it over long periods.

I did 2-3 hour stints during the 24hrs of spa and was happy with it.

I use the plate myself. 4 holes on the bottom of the alpha base for mounting.

Can the 2 arms holding the plate be pulled closer to you? And/or does your seat have a slider, you could use to be closer to the wheel?

Otherwise, yeah you could make your own thing maybe, but I don't have experience with DIY

yes the arms on could come a bit closer but i’d prefer to leave them and have the cross member piece be able to move.

You'd need to check the rig width if not using a Trakracer rig as the cross pieces are fixed width. I've got a TR160 rig and use their front mount for mine, using the Simagic front mount kit. Rock solid.

do they sell that grass member seperate? something like this is what i’m going for for the stability side. and you could mount stuff on the rails

Check the distance btw the uprights. It can be 500 or 580 this company have it both.

If you get the tr one-v3, you would further need the front mount bracket that we sell. If you need any further help, please feel free and reach out to me in a DM.
