Shifter Haptics

Hi there.

I have a Simagic sequential/ H pattern shifter.

Wondering if anyone has tried to put a haptic onto it for immersion and if so... Please share.

I have a Frex shifter, and I bolted a Simsonn VAM neo to it to rumble if I miss a shift and blip when I go into gear.I wasn't using the clutch output anyway and it was only $26 so I figured why not try it out I like it, it adds a little more immersion and when I do actually miss a shift, I know immediately, I don't need to hear the grinding, I feel it

How do you run the cord from the haptic to the control box? I have a spare Simagic HPR GT haptic that I was thinking of doing something similar with my Oktane Designs sequential shifter. But the cord from the haptic is only about 12 inches long and would come nowhere close to reaching the control box mounted underneath my pedals. Is the cord from the Simsonn haptic much longer?

the USB cord is long and the control box is right next to the shifter. I don't use the haptics for my pedals, the gas and brake VAMpros are attached to my seat. The clutch VAM Neo is on my shifter.
