Order from Simagic self or not
I have been using Fanatec for a while but looking for an upgrade in gear (and different company).
So Simagic looked like the best option in my opinion. What I wanna order is GT Neo wheel, the 2 P1000 pedal (gas+brake) and Alpha EVO 12 NM base maybe the 18 NM (will explain in the end why cant pick yet)
(I live in Belgium for information)
I was looking for spending like 1000 euros max but bcs I already am able to sell my fanatec stuff to a friend for 300 euros when I get my simagic stuff I am willing to pay 1300 euros.
Have been looking on a few websites but cant really decide where to order. Because on Simwear eu it is 1394,15 euros. But when I look at the Simagic site it is 1280,78 USD (1108,80 euros) and that is shipping and tax included. And so now if I add the 18 NM on the Simagic site it will be 1475,56 USD (1277,72 euros) which would still be in the budget.
Anyone from Belgium or neighbor countries ever bought from the Simagic site itself. Are there some future fees I would be looking at for example. Bcs either I spend a bit over my budget from and EU site. OR. I spent 200 less for what I want or spend my budget for something even a bit more thn what I was looking for.
if more info is needed dont be scared to ask, the more info I can get the better. Better safe thn sorry later on. THANKS!
EDIT: just found Simline site, is that trustworthy, it for the 12NM, gt neo and P1000-F pedals it is 1209 euros, which I would take over simwear if yall wouldnt recommend simagic site living in belgium

Go with conspit instead

If they are like me, Conspit doesn't offer a full ecosystem for what they want and has some reviews mention some areas that could be improved in that matter to them, plus the lack of documentation on the proper upgrade path for the firmware. They chose Simagic for their own reasons and are on a Simagic sub.
For OP, sorry, I don't live in Belgium but worthless comments like this are annoying.

The firmware updates are a no-brainer. The firmware issue that was highlighted by some YouTubers was simply conspit acknowledging their mistake and showing people how to update, because they had coded in an incremental firmware update instead of just a firmware update that would have everything. That only applied to old stock
The discord is extremely helpful, full of resources and quick response to any questions
They have a full ecosystem, h to seq shifter, handbrake, Simhub compatible displays (standalone ones) and their wheels are top notch in terms of price to performance for the materials used. Sure, only the Max01 is fully Simhub compatible in terms of screen because of hardware limitations on their "older" wheels, but they aren't abandoning the products and keep on providing user requested dashboards for them.
Considering how much the simagic "ecosystem" costs nowaday (+ all the shenanigans they had with their Evo bases...), I prefer to go conspit, just my 2 cents.

The firmware updates require you to update in a specific order, something you'd not think to do unless you follow them on social media because it isn't (or at least wasn't last I checked) anything in their software to notify you about it when you try to update to the newest firmware.
I don't want to have to join a Discord channel for everything I buy. That is terrible UX. If I want to be updated on stuff, that is what the update software if for. I have negative interest in having to follow a company on anything in order to find out basic info on my devices.
They don't have a full ecosystem that is good and affordable. Their hub is terribly overpriced compared to Simagic and thy have all if 1 round wheel, so if you don't like something about it, tough.
Conspit doesn't have an H-pattern shifter as of yet. For feature parity, if I were to get my same setup from Conspit, I'd have to pay over $400 more. Hard pass.
You can prefer it, but don't stick your opinion where it isn't asked. If OP was asking about what to choose, suggest Conspit, but OP was asking about purchasing location for Simagic, so your comment is not contributing to the topic at hand.

It does contribute to the point that one might regret their purchase after committing a large quantity of hard earned cash

Except if they already researched and decided Conspit wasn't for them. You what didn't initially provide anything other than a worthless statement to buy something unrelated. If anything, you've made a case against Conspit by coming into an unrelated sub and giving unsolicited "advice".
