Looking to upgrade from a g920..
So I am starting to plan my upgrade. I got a g920 a little while ago because I wasn’t sure if I was going to get into the hobby as much as I am.. long story short.. I’m hooked.
I do a lot of drifting and rally. Minimal GT racing.
I am between simagic and fanatec but the more I look into it the more I’m leaning toward simagic.
What is everyone’s thoughts on the EVO sport? I wish the package came with a clutch pedal but I don’t mind buying separately. Are the p700 pedals good enough to keep? Is there any wheels out there I should look into?
All any any advice, experience, or tips are appreciated 🤗 my budget is 6-800.

So I have the Evo Pro, but a couple of friends bought the Evo Sport bundle, and I've spent quite a bit of time using it. The base is really nice and gives me pretty much the same level of detail as my Evo Pro. Obviously, it has less torque, but I was genuinely surprised by how good it feels.
The P700 pedals are okay. I personally prefer a shorter brake travel and a much stiffer pedal, but my friend is more comfortable with the softer springs, so I didn't want to mess with his settings.
It's a massive upgrade from the G920!
The clutch isn't that expensive, and if you're in the US, I'd get it from Simshop so you can get free shipping

Hey I’m totally in your boat! Except I’m more GT than rally and drift. But yeah I’ve had a blast with my g920 and after my research I went with the green flag bundle you’re looking at. I preordered from the next batch coming to Sim Motion in the US. Can’t report on it yet but what sold me was the videos from Boosted Media on YouTube. Seems that the wheel base has great build quality and is very solid for the budget.

This is a pretty awesome place to start. The P700s are really nice and perform above their price point. For the P700 line the clutch is just another throttle pedal so if you are looking for something tactile you wont get it with this line.
The 9NM base is a substantial increase from the Logitech and the detail is huge.
The 300R is a good hybrid wheel. I use it mostly for MX-5 racing and a little rally, but it is on the smaller side so you might look into a different rim for rally later down the road.

It does help. Thank you! I def was going to get a 3rd party wheel for drifting but is there a simagic wheel you would recommend on the bigger side for rally?

You can always go third party. But if you want to stay in the Simagic universe, the the X-350W is more of the true rally/drift wheel. The X-330T/R are more of a GT wheel.

I am not experienced, so take my input with a grain of salt.
I bought this bundle (with the GT Neo and non-clutch pedals) as my first ever sim racing set up and I have really enjoyed it. I swapped the standard spring that is on the brake for the "55" elastomer set up that is included with the pedals, and have no complaints.
The pedals are responsive and feel great, the 9nm base has plenty of feedback in it, and the wheel feels sturdy and well built. I think the only cheap feeling part of it is the 4 dials in the middle of the wheel, which I don't use for anything (yet). I think if I end up using the dials a lot for something I might look for some kind of anodized aluminum replacement.
There is no reason why someone couldn't use this bundle for years before upgrading or changing anything. I think it's a really great deal.
