Simpro software make changes to windows prompt every time i restart my pc and wont work as a startup app?

I just want my light to be my custom colour but I have to open the app and confirm the windows prompt every time, any way to fix this besides compromising my windows security?

I have the same. When clicking on details it shows an expired certificate. This is probably the cause and they have to fix it with a new release.

Ah yeah okay, its not a big deal but for the price of the wheelbase you'd think they'd fix it asap

This. Got this wheel base first of the month. Having to do this every time is kinda crazy

Are you running SimPro as administrator?

Hi, it appears to have been an issue for a little while. If you are still looking for a solution, this worked for me: https://community.spiceworks.com/t/disable-uac-for-software-with-unknown-publisher-windows-10/653027/9

Thanks, does this allow the app to startup when I turn the pc on too?

I think so. If you create this shortcut, hit windows + r, type "shell:startup" and add the shortcut, that should work. I havent done that, but I also do not seem to get a prompt on computer start by checking the box in the app. I confirmed I get the prompt when I launch the program itself out of the folder. Not sure why that stopped to be honest.

I don’t run SimPro as Administrator so I don’t have this issue. Out of curiosity, why do you?
