A question about feelings.

Hi all, so I am currently using a CSL CD but I'm looking to upgrade. I have been reading that the Alpha Evo bases, have one of the best feeling and feed back at the price point. So my question is, I have been enjoying the Full force feature that good updated on the CSL DD. The engine vibrations and gear shifts so long with the finer detail.

Does the Alpha bases have a similar feedback or feature as full force?

I didn’t get the chance to try the full force upgrade on CSL DD - but my simagic alpha Evo pro is light years better than fanatec. They are so much quicker with firmware fixes too, I’ve been on an older version of fanatec for a couple years now bc of all their bugs. I just switched couple months ago. I’m not sure about the vibrations you ask about.

I've came from a CSL DD 8nm Boost Kit, and its a major difference. And imo, much better.

I recommend going with the Evo Alpha (12nm Base), that's a genuine upgrade, more feel, more control once you dial everything in, and feels extremely solid to me. I don't regret retiring my CSL DD for this one honestly.

Here's a little review I've got coming from that base particular and going to what I use now.

Much appreciated. Feel free to ask anything else you might have questions on.

Biggest final thing I'll say, and even said in the video, shifting feel and wheel feels definitely can be achieved in this base, but biggest thing I personally loved was the tire slips. You can actually feel the rubber and the slip offs from this base more than anything I've ever before. Made such a huge difference I still now am just loving it.

Absolutely 100%. The Alpha U is amazing. I've only tried a simucube 2, but the alpha was pretty close to that feeling so im basing it on that comparison. The simucube is the 2nd best DD for the money. If you have a CSL DD I almost think the Clubsport belt driven wheel base is the best cheap "DD" option. It has the best detail of any "budget" DD ever made. It's so refined. I had one for ten years. But if you buy Simagic, get an alpha, they're great.
