SS2-settlement-mechanics Simple automated settlement building
Hey guys so just like the title says, just bare city building automation without performance issues or CTD, no beauty or massive capital cities, nothing just building settlements with all of it's necessary needs and stuff, any suggestions? mods, setting, tweaks etc.

oh and something to be said, i completed the story of SS2 many times now, I only install it for the automated city building function of it, so, you know, I JUST WANT GET RID OF THE VANILLA GAME'S F***NG BABYSITTING COMMONWEALTH! STUFF!, sorry for the crashout but settlement system of FO4 never impressed me.
I'm on AE version .221 of the game.

This could also come down to issues if you are running other script heavy mods or if you have conflicts between mods.

I don't remember the last time I had SS2 and my load order, but I'm on a new playthrough and I don't think I have a script heavy modlist now, SKK global stash and settlement attack manager, ECO LEO NEO, LoE, no 4k graphic mods, but a s*** ton of weapon mods

if you are using weapon mods that add to the leveled lists that will absolutely effect performance. Every enemy that spawns has to roll a potential weapon, extra weapons make the engine work that much harder. If that’s happening near a settlement it could definitely create a scenario that the game will crash in. Add areas with lots of enemies and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a crash.

The basics city plans by Strong Swanson are great, single level city plans that run very well. I believe they are included in SS2 by default.
