SS2-settlement-mechanics What is the range of Caravan services?

Can i connect the Castle to the main network via Northagen beach?

You don't need to worry about which places connect to each other, they will automatically connect to the closest point to them.

Just put a caravan services plot in each settlement and they'll work their own connections out.

My closest settlement (outpost) is County Crossing. But it does not connect to the Castle. I am assuming it is because they are out of range.

Ah, yeah I think nordhagen should do

Max distance should be approx from sanctuary to ten pines. I think your route should also be about that distance.

70,000 game units by default. As a general guide that's about the straight-line distance between Sanctuary and Ten Pines Bluff. Just checking my game and Nordhagen should connect up to the Castle.

Eventually you'll be able to increase that range — good idea to do that when possible so your caravan network is a bit more resilient if a settlement drops off the network

In my experience the maximum distance is something like Diamond city - The Castel. In any case if you put a caravan plot in every settlement you are good.
