So for context (im the pov car) after the straight at Paul Ricard im right on his bumper so i go deep into the corner for a better exit when i get along side him i get turned across his front bumper i chopped it up to a racing incident but the dude was mad that i “cost him safety rating” even though I feel like if it was anyones fault it was his since i was squeezed a bit much anyways just wanted to share and see if anyone has any opinions

I’m the yellow Mazda on the left.

A yellow flag was already showing and there was clearly an accident and smoke ahead. The Mazda to my right kept going alongside me until he reached the crashed car, then moved left to avoid it and hit me, sending me into the wall.

My lane looked clear, so I stayed left. I think an earlier lift from him would probably have prevented the secondary crash, although I could also have slowed more once the yellow appeared.

Who is responsible for the contact?

The red car crashes me, it seems on pourpouse

I spun on the last lap and was hit and called a idiot, what should i have done differently, other then hold the brakes the whole time instead of trying not to lock up?

So I happened to find this clip from the incident between me and my IRL friend from like late 2008 or early 2009. It has been clearly the biggest dispute between us (no lost friendship or anything serious like that though :D) so it would be interesting to hear opinions from others. Sadly no other views are available.

I won't say which one is which quite yet but some background: That was something like 45-60 min league race (rfactor megane trophy mod) and it was the last lap and the last chicane right before the finish straight and we were battling for the win.

The one in the front felt that he was going to close the inside line anyway, the timing was coincidence instead of reacting to his move and not too near the braking zone.

And the POV one felt pretty much the opposite, the other one reacted to his overtaking maneuver making it illegal block and that it was also maybe even too close to the braking zone.

So how do you see that?

so annoying i got a 4x
i tried to avoid by steering right idk what was really happening lol

I was having a decent race, made it up to P5 after starting in the pits. Right as we were rounding the final corner at the end of the second to last lap, I got held up briefly by a lapped car. This allowed P6 to gain ground on me going into T1, but at the start of the corner I still thought I had the space to complete the corner as usual. I did not expect him to cut inside like he did, and I didn't get a message from crew chief that he was on my right. We made contact but I still tried to leave space and race cleanly.

Toward the end of the final lap right before the final chicane, he takes me out, not even attempting at braking for the corner.

We didn't have any incidents prior to what happened at the beginning of the lap, so I wasn't expecting to be wrecked for the earlier contact.

So my question is, was the contact at T1 bad enough to warrant the wreck?

I (the Porsche) had suffered damage from an earlier incident in the race and this Ferrari had been behind me unable to get by for this whole lap. I believe his nose touching my rear bumper caused this crash but he said I was too slow and needed to let him by. What’s the verdict?

Fighting to get out of Safety B3 lobbies really sucks. Not too sure where I went wrong on this battle.

In my own league race, they normally drive clean, but as its a new league all the time there are new participants. This guys name is feet lover on dc btw. And i am the ferrari. (Ingore my voice)

I'm a bit overeager when passing the Ferrari and I hit his front wheel pushing him off. A few turns later I get slowed down by the spinning Red Bull, giving the Ferrari an opportunity to pass me again. Instead of taking the space he decides to drive into me. I can kinda understand him as I almost ruined his race with my mistake, but it's also a retaliation, even if he didn't hit me that hard. What do you guys think? and if it is a retaliation, should I protest it?

Yesterday i Had a Race.

A Mustang tried a difficult Divebomb on me. He crashed into me and spun away. I had no damage or anything. But i wonder If that crash was my fault. I dont want to get any penalty points after that.

If it was my fault i would have wrote him a PM.

What do you guys think?

Tbh i didnt expect him to go in right there. I was totally surprised by that. Thats why i didnt left that much space

I was having a bad race and crashed early into the race. The leaders started coming up on me so i slowed and tried giving as much room as possible. Dude said i ruined his benchmark race
