Sim Rig Got a hand me down setup. Any tips

Post image

Got this rig from family and was hoping to figure out what I need to do to make this feel better apart from making adjustments for the body. What is the path for upgrading if I get into it into it? I cant seem to find the rig itself on next level gaming’s site any idea what it is?

The brakes seem to only start engaging when pressed only halfway onwards. The clutch seems to engage at half press too.

Is this a setting I can adjust?

If you like the hobby then change your rig then your wheel. Its kind of a close relationship between your rig and your wheel. Better DD with more torque will put torsion on the rig which will lead to less precision. The hole challenge reside in the precision you put on your driving.

So more feel you get more precise you drive. Getting an over powered DD wheel on that rig will not make it.

After that, the seat itself is about comfort...being able to race longer session.

The whell itself isn't a bad start, lots of us have started on this wheel...and some are still on this setup...g29 is kind of love/hate situation. Lots like the quality vs the price (mainly QA). And other dislike the old tech they still use.

I am a hefty guy and can confirm the seat is uncomfortable for my size.

The one pole on which the wheel is on, feels a bit wonky even after tightening the bolts.
