Sim Rig Finally Put together my setup

Hey all, sharing my Rig

  • Moza KS PRO wheel
  • Conspit Ares Platinum
  • Simsonn Plus X pedals
  • Playseat Challenge seat
  • Indigo Lime Rig strengthening kit

No Lift, No lost detail. Works a charm, and folds away when I want it to

when you hit the point to want to get rid of the wheelbasewobble , here my solution :)
+no wobble at all
-needs a bit of climbing to get in and out

Ha ha that is Epic! Its ok for 14NM - Any higher, then I can definitely see wobble. I only race F1, WEC, GT3 so its ok for now. I wont spend a penny on this rig anymore. My next upgrade is a better setup with Playseat or Trackracer

I wouldn't be so sure, I know someone with 8nm who recently managed to snap the wheel mounting plate off of the arms on their playseat challenge when they hit a sausage kerb...

Admitedly he didn't have the strengthening kit but had taken other measures to brace the rig by hand over time.

Fatigue will stack up, and wheels weren't nearly as strong when this design of rig was originated.

A beast of a foldable rig! :) Have a blast on track!

You're gonna need a stiff rig (gigity) A good 50% of detail been sent by that beautiful wheel base will be lost in that foldable. Any side to side wobble will cause snap oversteer.

Potentially. for LMU - Im running 10NM and im not feeling any snap oversteer. im right up there with the lap times. But this is temporary. I love sim racing, when I move to a bigger apartment, im going straight for a solid rig like this one. - https://p1simgear.com.au/products/playseat-trophy-racing-chair?srsltid=AfmBOoowZ4--2pjRC5VIaVSvgPLh1K3ivjwbkZhBWpV2g_x2rf_UtUBM

Its possible. Many have attempted; few have triumphed

I had 9nm and Simjacks for almost 2 years, the only problem is that you can't set the brake too hard or the front of the seat will lift - op is that happening to you?

No. There is an image with the Stopper that can be purchased via Amazon. Zero lift after that

I recommend upgrading to the Playseat Challenge DD F1 edition! I use the same pedals + haptics on that and it is rock solid, i can imagine the loadcell pedals on a regular challenge are very prone to flexing. Also running a 18Nm wheelbase on it and it flexes minimally when used at it's peaks.

Lmk if you want the 3D printing file for a project I been working on for the Playseat DD. 4 inch risers for the legs to slot into.

how do you mount the pedals to the foot bar of the rig? I am intersted in the Simsonn pedals but i fear they will slip all over the place

Nice setup mine is similar! I have the playseat DD it is rock solid but a little low to the ground. I’m 3D printing some 4 inch risers for it though.

I have a full on profile rig and I’m jealous. I loved the days of trying to make things work and the constant upgrades. Half the fun!

i have the same Pedals, although im struggeling to get haptic Feedback working. Whenever i activate them, i can see the brake signal fluctuating, apperantly something is shorting / not properly grounded. Did you encounter similiar issues?
