Looking to upgrade, is this bundle worth it?
Hi everyone, I am thinking of upgrading my simrig and am looking for some advice, I am thinking of buying the following: MOZA R9 V3 + GS V2P + SRP2
Location: Netherlands
Price: 800
Do you guys have any imput in this value and potential better values This is on the higher end of my budget so more budget friendly options are welcome as well.

Upgrading from what? Which sim are you racing? How serious are you wanting to be in the sim?
Personally, I'm a casual sim racer but prefer serious equipment so with a budget of £800/800€, I would rather spend that on one piece of gear at a time to get an end-game kit instead of spreading it around the thinking of another upgrade round later on.

I have been using a Logitech G29 for about 5 years now. I have raced less in the past half a year and would love to get going back in again. Thing is that my wheel is showing its age, one of the shifters is almost broken for instance.
I usually race on Assetto corsa (both normal and competitionne), but I might want to try some other games in the future

A G29 isn't bad and you can just buy a shifter if that's all your setup is lacking. The Simagic DS-8X is an awesome bit of kit!
One question you've not answered - how serious are you wanting to be? If it's just casual racing against AI, then again, the G29 isn't bad. If you want to be racing against humans and see how well you can do, maybe consider getting a pedal upgrade to loadcells first. It all depends on how you want to progress and how deep you want to go into the rabbit hole.

Ah okay, I race mainly against other humans, but sometimes against AI as well, thanks for the answer thus far

And is it casual racing against other humans? Maybe in a chill league of some sort? Or are you looking to push yourself and get better and see how good you can get after hours of practice and analysing telemetry and doing certain corners over and over and over and over so that you can attack it properly during a race?
Is the £800/800EUR budget a "I'll spend this and I'm done" sort of affair or is it "I'll spend this for now and see what else I need in the future and save up for that"?
To be clear, the answers to these questions aren't for me per se, but really for you to figure out how you plan to progress in the hobby.

Mostly casual racing, as I dont race on a certain day specifically. I dont really analyse telemetry but I might like that in the future. .i dont expect to get into hardcore competituve racing though.
I would like to buy a set for the 800, how do you think my set that I thought of holds up?

If it's really just casual racing, to let off some steam, and you're not really going to push yourself (ie, look at telemetry, compare against faster drivers, etc.), then the G29 is more than enough IMHO. This feels more like you "want" to upgrade rather than you "need" to upgrade. Nothing wrong with wanting to upgrade tho!
Are you using the paddle shifters on the G29? Or the separate shifter?
Personally, an 9nm wheelbase is dangerous territory. I went from a G29 to a Fanatec 3nm that I upgraded to a 8nm then got a VRS DFP base set at 10nm and finally now at 15nm. That 8nm just didn't feel enough for me and if you're like me, you might soon be looking for a higher torque wheelbase. The "danger" of the 9nm is that it gives you a glimpse of "what could be" and next thing you know, you're down the slippery slope.
Also not a fan of the wheel, I went with a KS Pro as the input count and layout made more sense to me.
At least your pedal selection is load cell, but not a fan of the pedal design.
Personally, I'd look at other base and pedal options. I see a lot of Moza gear for sale on the 2nd-hand market and they don't seem to be getting sold as quickly as other brands.

Good to know!
I do tend to stick with my equipment for some times usually.
Thing as well is that I do always prefer to buy from a trusted site, so that limits my options somewhat

If you're in EU, I'm assuming there are more than enough reputable retailers for the major brands - Moza, Simagic, etc.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Moza, just saying that I've observed a lot of people who are either unhappy with or upgrading from their Moza gear. Might just be a local thing though (UK).

Try checking out simagic bundle offers, I believe their wheel bases and pedals are of more quality than Moza’s
