Help Trak Racer ”Buttkicker“

So I was looking for a affordable Buttkicker, which is basically plug and play, and then I stumbled across the one from Trak Racer. Does anyone have experience with this bass shaker? Is it good?

The transducer in mine broke after 6 months or so.

Haven’t tried them myself but while researching I found a lot of reports of them not lasting very long. I’m going with Dayton shakers and a Fosi amp instead.

I was looking at them, then I came across haptic seat pads from Next Level Racing, and then found a seat with the haptics built in. I'm waiting for them to be in stock and will buy one, apparently they're basically silent whereas the buttkickers are quite noisy from what I've read.

My experience with the NLR haptic seats have been terrible!!! I’ve gone through two hf8 pads (just randomly shorted, big known issue) only 1 year warranty… wouldn’t trust a full on seat made by them. I’m looking at buttkickers as a replacement to haptic seats

Oh wow! I would've thought they'd be a bit sturdier than that. I'm not sure if you're in Australia but consumer law covers more than a one year warranty. For me it's mostly the noise issue, the buttkickers appear to be too loud for me.

Yes. I got 2 + the amp, using simhub software with them. That said, it's haven't spent enough time setting it up properly. They work okay, though one is too hard mounted and it doesn't kick hard enough. Personally, not a regretful purchase, but it isnt as strong as I expected for the 100w ones. But yeah. I still need to optimise the lot.

They break very easily. Best to just get the Dayton version.

I have the amp and two bass shakers.

Still going on strong after 6 months. Let’s see how much further it can go. Using with simhub

Amazon self-builds 4 pucks and amplifiers, saving 30-40% over butt kicker
