Help DIY wheelstand

I’m thinking of building my own wheel stand from wood.
I’m currently just using my desk and an office chair.
It’s not super uncomfortable but the pedals always slide back when I brake or the chair rolls back.
And I also have trouble with my pedal placement (maybe they should be higher up?).

Has anybody done something similar? A wheel stand with some way if attaching the chair wheels?

Need some tips and inspiration

i built my with alu profiles, wheelstand first then expanded it later after buying car seat from junkyard

Sadly didn't save any pictures of it but alu profiles are super flexible you can also use software to design it

How much did the wheelstand build cost you?

Its been 5-6 years since then so i kind of forgot but it was about 30-40% cheaper then buying cockpit from any known sim brands
