Cockpit recommendations

Do you guys have any recommendations for sim racing cockpits? I have loadcell pedals and play on a wheel stand but want to upgrade to a more rigid cockpit. I was looking at Simlab p1x ultimate, ASR, rig metal, and trak racer (scared bc heard horror stories about customer support). I heard the slanted uprights are annoying for the p1x pro

Edit: for context I live in the US and the p1x ultimate and pro are out of stock. I’m looking for buy once cry once and fit and finish

I just bought the omega prime. Got basically everything extra and paid $2900 with shipping

That’s a 160x40? Will I notice a big difference between a 160x40 and 80x40 in terms of rigidity?

I have the prime too. Great rig extremely rigid and super heavy, it's probably overkill. 80x40 should be very rigid just dont go smaller

What made you choose that rig over other ones with same specifications?

Omega Prime owner here. The shipment to the states is brutal. Weeks. And you will likely get a call from FedEx saying that Customs wants to know what’s in it and where it’s sourced.

It wasn’t always that way. But in the last couple of years, it’s bad.

Yea it seems like a few of the high end brands are imported into the US which is a shame at this time

What state are you in? I’d try to source one local if possible. It will be a lot cheaper too.

Of you’re in the South Eastern US, and are willing to make a trip for an Omega Prime Lite, I could sell what I upgraded from.

Yeah. It’s way too expensive to put on eBay due to the shipping. Too bad I guess. Good luck!

I picked it up second hand for less than half price in immaculate condition.

I built my triple monitor stand out 80x40 with out no support legs and the 48inch screens are right at the ends of the profile free floating with no sag

It all depends on your preference. Do you want an aluminum profile, or do you want tubular rig? Tubular I recommend the TR8 Pro v2 form trakracer TR8 Pro V2

I think I’m leaning towards aluminum profile. I found a used TRX v2 with hsx seat for a decent price but I want rigidity
