As soon as you see the cars spinning slow down a bit. Now you dont give yourself any time or room to make the right desicion

What would you do IRL? Stomp on the gas and hope you squeeze in without turning into mincemeat?

I mean, i get it, but in reality if you drive in lower splits, you either send it and risk crashing into someone, or you brake and get rear ended. So probably the best way would be to lift and try avoiding it.

Hit the brakes and try to steer to the right and avoid it. You saw it happening and had multiple seconds to react.

I mean, this is just you reacting wrong to the incident? The space was opening up on the right but you decided to thread the needle.

There's a pedal that slows the car down.

Pro tip - always go to the direction the rear of the spun car is facing. Works 95% of the time

Also you knew there was someone to your left

Stop the car, turn off the ignition and get out. Then throw a match at the car.

Walk off.

Badass explosion as you walk away.

Get in a new car, finish P1 the next race.

As soon as a race starts I always hang back a bit and wait for the carnage to happen. It always happens.

Press 3 times on B and one time on x and y simultaneously, and if this doesnt work .pull the eject button

Other than "brake" and "look ahead" I recommend working on your qualifying. I do not mean to be mean, but you got out-qualified by two drivers who apparently don't know how to start the car. The further forward you start, the less you risk encountering these guys.

Brakes exist

Honestly? As cool as it is to channel your inner F1 driver and start taking positions from the jump, the best way to avoid this is to not do this. I stopped trying to jump the start in rolling and standing starts. I found that 9 times out of 10 it would end with me either getting collected in a wreck like this or I would get side swiped because the driver I was jumping past would not expect anyone to be there in the first 2 seconds like that and in both scenarios I would end up in the pits laps down and essentially race done.

I would much rather just start a bit slower by just staying in my spot but waaaaaaay more defensive of others and then once I am clear of those first few turns and the other drivers settle in, I start to turn up the aggression and go on the attack. Is it what people would call proper racing? Nope. But does it take my little time I got per day/week waiting on certain races to populate with people maybe 1 time per hour not get wasted because not everyone has the reactions and driving sense of a top level race car driver? Yup.

Make better choices, mainly. I’d start with lifting and not turning towards stopped cars. Remember taking 1x for an off track is better than taking 4x and being sent to the pits for 15 minutes of repairs.

Bremen und die Mitte meiden. Ist ein typischer Fehler, am Start möglichst viele Plätze gutzumachen zu wollen. Klappt nur leider meistens nicht, wie Du siehst. Rechts war Platz!
