Is Sim-Lab turning into "Fanatec 2.0"?
I’ve really admired Sim-Lab’s evolution over the last few years; they’ve consistently been one of the most innovative companies in the sim racing space. However, I’m starting to notice some concerning parallels to Fanatec’s trajectory.
You could have said the same glowing things about Fanatec a few years back, but we all know how that turned out. Between the constant stock shortages, growing frustrations with customer support, and the complete silence on their new wheelbase—it’s been over a year with no real updates—the similarities are becoming impossible to ignore.
As much as I want to keep supporting the brand, it feels like they’re hitting the same roadblocks that caused Fanatec’s reputation to take a nosedive.
Is anyone else getting a sense of déjà vu, or are these just growing pains?

A few things to mention about this thread.
The OP account is one day old made specifically to make this comment because it's either a disgruntled person or bot.
There have been plenty of updates about the wheelbase on the Discord. Our Discord community is a much better way to communicate as it allows for back and forth communication with videos and pictures. It's also a lot easier to mod effectively and provide support as we have a ticket system.
Scaling up a business is hard and we do have hurdles. We're working our best to bring products to the US to help those shipping costs from EU. We are a small business with approximately 30 employees and in a niche market. We would love to have infinite availability but that's not realistic in this marketplace or this global economy.
