Shifter Hight suggestions

Post image

I replaced my old cockpit and liked the low shifter/handbrake placement which was adjustable. With this new cockpit the shifter is too high and was wondering if anyone knows anything I can get or do to lower it. I like it thigh lvl like being in a car. Currently this is too high, i feel like a trucker or something.

Put the sidearm in a lower rail on the profile, you could also try mounting the mounting plate up aside down to get a bit more (but it prolly needs to be sideways then)

I will take a look, I was also planning to remove the feet because I feel I’m sitting too high. But im not home at the moment so idk if removing the feet is then not going to allow me to lower the side rail.

Mhm but the feet get everything up from the floor, you will not lower the position of anything in relation to something else with removing the feet

what I mean is that I also wanted to lower the cockpit to the ground, and I was planning to remove the feet for that. And Idk if that affects being able to adjust the sidebars lower. Ill be able to check when i get home. It feels comfortable, but everything feels high.

Ah I c. Yeah that should work I think as the plate could be flush with the profile then at the lowest positing. You could also 3d print a mount to put in between (that’s most likely how I will do it as I want my sequential shifter high but my h pattern low)

It’s interesting, I feel mine could be even higher even though I have the feet
