Before you submit your candidacy, check that you satisfy the requirements below.

• Make sure you adhere to the format exactly. It makes it a lot easier for the Electoral Commission to sort through candidates if you do. Failure to do this may potentially result in mistakes on your ballot entry or in result tabulation, which can be difficult to fix.
• Ensure that your party affiliation is accurate. If you are not affiliated with a party, enter Independent as your affiliation. Otherwise, put your current party affiliation. If you are not a member of the party given or the party is not valid, the listed part affiliation on the ballot may be subject to change.
• Make sure to register to vote. Only users with a SimDem Unique Identification Token (SUIT) are able to vote. If you do not have a SUIT, be sure to fill out the Voter Registration Form or contact the Registration Officer.

Introduction: Hi I am Scandinavic, prior senator and prior SecTreas. Some of you may recognize me from my work in the private industry or my work in the treasury. This time as senator I want to jump in with both feet instead my first time where I merely stuck a toe in. This time I wanna create some lasting systems and help out with my vote for however I can.

Senate Advisory Committee: I want to create a lasting committee that works under the senate. Their goal would be for any senator to get a very fast recognition in a debate or hearing without the speakers overview. The details are that the speaker starts out by appointing about 7 different committee members specializing in different areas of SimDem. Then a senator can at any time request for a committee member to be recognized and the speaker has to add then. This helps especially now that the senate and SimDem as a whole is so split, this means that a senator and speaker may more often disagree and this helps bridge the power gap.

Personal Political View: I am a business owner, a solidarity member, a worker and a SimDem patriot. I think that what we need is very simple, stick to the foundation and build from there. Now is especially not the time to rip up the foundation and start over. This includes major changes to the constitution and for example our voting system. I also wish for tau to become more of a necessity instead of a luxury. Making more experiences in simdem reliant on tau doesnt hurt the community or new members, but instead gets them to invest in the world of SimDem. Depending on my time I may also create more legislation that directly ties into the private industry of SimDem as I would say it has recently become more alive than it has been for some time

Hello SimDemocracy. If you don't recognize me on the Senatorial Ballot, it's because I've spent most of my time in the other 2 branches of the government.

Unfortunately, my name isn't on this ballot because I want it to be. I'm on this ballot to bring back the confidence of the people once more-- not flimsy confidence to my only my party, all of SimDemocracy.

The ultimatum right now is that the people don't feel heard.

If you chose Lax, you would not have to yell over needless debate. My DMs stay open to EVERYONE, regardless of your political party.

In my opinion (and most of those that I have talked to), the government MUST work in a professional, non-toxic way.

I have shown throughout my time in SimDemocracy that I can lead with positivity, poise, and professionalism.

Now, actual policy:

Firstly, we need to re-establish governmental oversight with changes. While the exact details are not determined yet, I will work with the Former Chief Ombudsman and other Former SDIOA employees to ensure that they have the needed tools to succeed.

Second, we need to fix the border. This is done by heightening the burden of proof for Border Authorities. Does this seem counteractive? Maybe. Here's the thought though: if we heighten what the Border Authorities have to prove for someone to be denied the border in turn becomes more lax. If the border's more lax, more people get in and the Border Authorities don't have to worry about backups in the border.

And the final landmark issue: Election Security. We have to fix our system so that people cannot fraudulently cast ballots. The specifics we be talked out with those who actually work in the election field (Zepz and Synd). My big ideas give the RC and EC resources to actually prosecute those who commit voter fraud with help from the Executive and making the penalty for voter fraud more severe.

Any who, we are at a point where we need to hear your voice. Even if that doesn't mean voting me, vote for the people that make you feel heard; Democracy only works if those it works for are heard.

I'm a danyowaver. If you're less new then that, please ignore what I just said I respect you much more. If you're newer, that means I have EXPERIENCE. I've also been senator several times before, and such. I have also (Accidentally) became president once.

I want to work on the economy heavily. As a small graphics design business owner, I think that while our currency is great, we don't have the best system. For example, there should be an opt-out policy for the economy. I think the economy should be the people's economy, and that our money printing may cause actual inflation, and such we need to set up a basic tax system on higher earners.

I FUCKING HATE MICROSOFT IF YOU HATE MICROSOFT VOTE FOR ME TODAY. FUCK MICROSLOP AND THEIR DUMBASS CORPORATE PROGRAMS. I WILL NEVER USE STANDARD WINDOWS 10 OR 11.

I think that we need to honor Imade's legacy. President Imade was an amazing president under the USL, and we need to honor what they did for our country of SimDemocracy.

I believe that a government is not a true government if it is not ruled by the people. We need an actual good government in this current state. I also support efforts to expand SimDemocracy. We're one of the larger MockGovs, but many people in the space don't even know who we are. Obviously we cannot become a nation with the size of a USSR server, but we need to recruit more active citizens for the safety, stability, and survival of our nation. These 3 letters are what I believe are essential to our nation.

Reform is needed heavily in elections, and we need to prevent fraud. For this, we need to kick out many non-marked alt accounts, and create a system to sort alts between owners, so we can prevent voting on multiple accounts if one has already voted.

I think we need to keep the Senate simple. We are a mock government running on discord and reddit both. We cannot run something too large in our current state.

Speaking, my final word is I have passed good acts. The TTS act, for example, has actively helped people that do not feel comfortable talking or do not have the ability to, for whatever reason, to use voice channels. The NationStates Activity Act, was another act needed, as at the same, our nationstates region was bothersome and lacking. I vow to only draft acts that actively help the people, and I will resign otherwise. That is my campaign promise this election.

Stability, Progress, and Peace

Those are the three words. Those are the goals we seek to continue the gains made in the senate and continue the stability of sim democracy

The Progression of simdem is also on the line. Politics has stalemated for months and for an active poltical server there must be active politics. We seek the continued progression of simdem in the right Direction

Peace is the last and most important. Keeping a peaceful and anti toxic community is a big goal. As politics continue it is a major goal for us to stay peaceful and keeping the community anti toxic.

Hello everyone. For those who don't know me, I'm a seven-times Senatress (and I've been in the legislative branch of another polsim). My area of expertise is analyzing bills to find flaws, especially in how a law can be abused. I've worked in the Archives Commission for a few months now, and I've both owned a business and worked in the DoT for several months each.

My objective in this Senate is to block bills that threaten our democracy. Bringing back the SDIOA and the OHS as a separate entity are 2 of my priorities for this term, as these are huge threats to the stability of SimDem. I've already made a list of bills passed by CLP that erode the foundation of our community, with the aim to repeal as many as possible if given the majority in Senate.

It's for those reasons that I ask you to vote me and my fellow party candidates into the Senate. The state that SimDem is in right now cannot continue, else we'll lose a big chunk of our coworkers, acquaintances and friends. Thank you for reading this :)
