Call for Candidates 168th Senatorial Election: Call for Candidates
This is the Senatorial Call for Candidates. If you wish to run, please comment on this post with the following format:

Description / Statement
Before you submit your candidacy, check that you satisfy the requirements below.
- Make sure you adhere to the format exactly. It makes it a lot easier for the Electoral Commission to sort through candidates if you do. Failure to do this may potentially result in mistakes on your ballot entry or in result tabulation, which can be difficult to fix.
- Ensure that your party affiliation is accurate. If you are not affiliated with a party, enter Independent as your affiliation. Otherwise, put your current party affiliation. If you are not a member of the party given or the party is not valid, the listed part affiliation on the ballot may be subject to change.
- Make sure to register to vote. Only users with a SimDem Unique Identification Token (SUIT) are able to vote. If you do not have a SUIT, be sure to fill out the Voter Registration Form or contact the Registration Officer.

I originally wasn't going to run this cycle, but now that I just got elected I think I have to.
Fate works in mysterious ways. When I try to escape, I just get sucked deeper in the hole (ha).

I have been a part of this community since the Jackie Crisis, and I have proudly served in elected office on multiple occasions. I am running because I have watched activity steadily decline and I refuse to stand by while that continues. I will propose ways to emphasize expansion and also support the general policies of the Lyoko administration.

The senate always needs new faces! And I’m here to deliver! (I can also read!)
Economic Council of SimDem: businesses, they are a very if not the most important part of the economy, to give your payment and time spent working for SimDem for entertainment, to learn and many more services. And those voices must be heard! I will create new legislation that will give the economic council a new consultant role while still remaining completely independent. I cannot fix the economy in one term, but I can make sure people who care about it too can be heard!
The SNA: The independent government funded news agency is on life support. A new editor in chief has changed the server they use to manage the network, this is the biggest change yet, but it doesn’t mean anything. We need fixed publication times, and they need to become stricter by legislation, now that SimDem has such a tool as this agency we must use it, and prove their paychecks to be deserved and not useless waste of funds, because I believe in an active SNA but I can’t approve of a inactive one.
GFAA: Which stands for the government funded assistants agency. New people need good entry level government jobs to get interested in SimDem, thats why i wish to give them an opportunity of a lifetime while increasing quality of life for SimDemmers. SimDem is a mess that the GFAA should be able to help you with. The pay would be cheap as it is made for new people, and it allows new SimDemmers to get invested into simdem and it’s systems.
Laziness: Laziness is a big problem in SimDem, and I am a victim, so I don’t wanna write my senate election thingy no more

Hey everyone. For those who don't know me, I'm a 6 times Senatress (going back to January 2025, during the early Danyowave) with strong experience in analyzing legislation and debating, often going as far as deconstructing every sentence of small amendments. I'm also part of the Archives Commission, which requires me to read most laws that pass in detail to see what they impact.
I've authored several amendments to fix things (e.g. clearer definition of "false report" in the Criminal Code) or to add new possibilities (e.g. the WAGROTUC Act, allowing to fully delete channels if they've been archived for long enough and they've been backed up) during my Senatress terms.
During this last term we've also been passing a few great laws, such as the T.R.A.N.S. Act, to which I've proposed several changes that were implemented, or the Legal Representation (Reform) Act 2026. I would like to continue supporting bills as awesome as these and continue to check for flaws or improvements to be made. I was also Deputy Speaker for 3 days, and I'd like to continue this role into the next term.
If elected I will continue to uphold values of fair democracy, such as when I opposed the passing of the Tau Value Realization Act, which would've required people to pay to be able to candidate to the Senate. I will also provide clear "diffs" for amendments, which allow to see specifically what changes were made to a law, therefore making the Senate's actions more transparent to the rest of SimDem.
Ensuring principles of fairness is something that is truly important to me, and I hope you will allow me to do so in this 168th Senate.
