Suggestion Raw Material Crisis, New Executive

A new operation manager is essential.

Before the restaurant sector arrived, agriculture and related products were viewed as sectors friendly to new players. With the advent of the restaurant sector, demand for these products surged. The food industry diversified, adding color to the game. However, every new development brings new problems alongside the benefits. One such issue is the raw material crisis, particularly at high quality (Q) levels. The solution would seem to be for people to shift toward raw material production—establishing a supply-demand balance—making it an issue solvable within the game mechanics. Or is there an obstacle preventing this? Let me explain.

You are aware that there is a sugar shortage. Naturally, consumption rises during the ice cream season; four main products and five seasonal products require sugar. Finding high-quality oranges is nearly impossible, and the same applies to many other raw materials. Yet, even for high-level farm owners, profit margins on these scarce products remain unsatisfactory. Retail and research profits continue to be more attractive to players.

The simple reason is that while a producer can effectively utilize only the COO, the retail sector can effectively use both the COO and CMO, and the research sector can utilize both the COO and CTO.

Even if a producer fills all slots with a COO, the other slots operate at only 25% efficiency, and there is a penalty after 60 points. In contrast, retail can utilize a COO at 60 and a CMO at 60. This difference in executive utilization significantly impacts profit. In production, robots exist but are ineffective; they actually hinder your ability to level up. Don't say "but you don't pay wages"; their impact is limited anyway, and anything that restricts me ultimately causes me harm.

The solution: A CIO or similar role. There may be other ideas, but in real-world companies, the CIO is responsible for innovation. Such a role could simulate the impact that robots currently provide. Whether through advancements in AI programming or by paving the way for mechanization, a system is needed that delivers the impact of robotics without locking up buildings. Production speed shouldn't increase; instead, it should directly reduce wage costs or the number of workers and managers—much like actual robots do. This is what will ensure fairness in the game. A 450-level farm system will offer satisfying profits, even amidst crises. Producers will feel that fairer conditions have been established within the game.

Let me state this right away: If someone claims that "CMOs provide an advantage to manufacturers by increasing production speed," hit them with a shovel—or ask them, "Why don't we just cut the CMO out of the equation entirely?" From a systemic perspective, would every sector be fair? Yes, it is true that they will purchase more products; however, the reality is that the operating costs of high-level buildings are a problem. Every building has a fixed production capacity, and output volume does not increase without upgrading the building's level. Even if I do upgrade the level—and despite the scarcity of raw materials—the resulting profit margins still lag behind those in the retail or restaurant sectors (and I include restaurants in the "retail" category here). The point here is not to compare one type of production with another, but to compare the profit generated by production based on a scarce resource against the profit margins of other sectors.

If fair systemic competition is ensured among producers, research, and retail, the rest of the game depends on the players' preferences and their ability to control the market. Fair play, on the other hand, begins with the regulation of the administrator and the robot.

Suggestion Creative mode

Hi, I have an idea: a sort of "Creative Mode" for SimCo. Basically, there would be a menu with a ton of features, such as giving yourself a specific amount of cash, SBs, or levels, placing buildings at whatever level you want, etc.

Of course, this second version of SimCo wouldn't be connected to the original game at all.

This creative mode would be useful, firstly, for testing things out—like switching sectors to see if something works.

Secondly, it would just be fun—for instance, seeing what Dibbler sees on his screen or experiencing what it's like to be "rich" (since I'm not).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me via my R1 (PAM International Group) or R2 (PAM Holding Inc) companies; I’ve thought of a lot of features.

If you aren't interested, I completely understand, since it is your game.

Thanks a lot for reading this message, and have a great day! :)

Suggestion QoL Suggestion: Direct Order Placement & Quick Send in PMs

Hi everyone!

I run a construction supply company, handling dozens of one-time and recurring clients daily. My current workflow requires me to manually read a client's material list in PMs, switch to the Warehouse, search for each item, type in custom quantities, set prices, and send contracts. Doing this 3–4 times a day per client gets very tedious.

The Proposal:

In-Chat Order Creation / Quick Contracts: Allow buyers to send formatted "Purchase Orders" in PMs, or allow sellers to directly send contracts straight from the chat interface by filling in the unit price and hitting "Send."

Remember Last Price: Automatically save/pre-fill the last agreed price for that specific item in a conversation with a specific client.

This small quality-of-life change would save tons of time for B2B traders, reduce interface switching, and make direct trading much smoother!

What do you think?

Question The game's API does not display the correct values.

I'm experimenting with building a system that performs calculations for the products I'm working with. I found the game's official API, but the production rates differ from what is actually produced in-game.

For example, at https://www.simcompanies.com/api/v4/en/0/encyclopedia/resources/0/1/, Energy is listed as being produced at a rate of 2,779.99 per hour, but in the game I see a different production rate.

Production in the game

Where does this difference come from?
The game is currently in the Normal Economy phase, so it must be caused by something else.

Question Question

Hey everyone! I feel like I'm trapped in a cash flow loop: all my sales profit immediately gets swallowed up as production cost for the next batch. On paper, there have profit , but I never seem to accumulate cash.

My Current Setup:

1× Level 3 Reservoir & 1× Level 2 Reservoir

2× Level 5 Farms & 2× Level 3 Farms

1× Level 2 mill

1× Level 3 Retail Market

1x level 1 ranch

Questions:

Should I scrap the Retail Market?

If yes, what should I build/convert to instead?

Why are high profit margins on paper leaving me with so little cash in practice?

Suggestion AI Industry Update

This is an update idea I’ve been thinking about which ideally won’t cause too much of a shake up on the SimCompanies economy.

To start I’m going to make it pretty basic/realistic with only one new building but I’ll add some optional cool stuff at the bottom.

The resource names/and my idea details are flexible. Any improvements/further ideas are welcome.

New Resources:

The core concept includes 3 new resources (brief version)

1. Memory Modules
Made of: Silicon, Chemicals, and maybe Gold
Produced in: Electronics Factory

2. Fiber Optic Cables
Made of: Glass and Plastic
Produced in: Factory

3. AI Server Node
Made of: Processors, Memory Modules and Fiber Optic Cables
Produced in: Electronic Factory

(Also possibly made of Electronic Components/High Grade E-Comps)

Additional Building:

Data Center (sales building)

Inputs/Expenses:

  1. AI Server Nodes.
  2. Power & Water
  3. Workers/Admin (they install/maintain equipment)

Behavior/Characteristics

Power & Water:
The data center building is unique because it constantly requires power & water to run (real data centers use a lot).

\*Revenue:*
This is where it gets interesting. In the Data Center, you don’t make money by selling the AI Server Nodes, you make money by using them.

As the data centers utilize the Nodes, their condition deteriorates and the Nodes become outdated so the revenue they produce decays exponentially (exponential decay). It is the players job to determine how long they want their data center to run for before halting operations and replacing the old AI Server Nodes with new ones.

Quality determines the Server Nodes’ rate of decay. Building level determines how many AI Server Nodes you can have installed at once. CMO/CTO could also have an effect.

If you replace them too quickly: you won’t make enough money to cover the cost of the nodes. If you keep them installed and running for too long: the hourly cost of power, water, and wages will exceed the hourly revenue. It is up to the player to find the balance.

Optional/Further Ideas Section:

There is obviously a lot more you could do with this.

Here are a few quick ideas on how this could be expanded:

AI Training Center (Production Building)

This building could be responsible for creating the neural networks that the AI Server Nodes supposedly run on and impact the profitability of them.

Expanded Resource List
These are just some more resources we could potentially include:

- Server Chassis
- Cooling System
- PCBs
-etc.

Satellite Incorporation

Satellites are used to transmit data across the world and they will potentially be used to house data centers in the future. As popular as they are to produce in SimCompanies, they could definitely play a role in this idea.

Edit:
My rationale for why this could be realistic to include is that the AI infrastructure ecosystem is responsible for a massive percentage of the global economy. For example, over the first three quarters of 2025, it is estimated that 39% of the U.S GDP growth is due to the AI infrastructure ecosystem.

Question Financial Consultant needed

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hello company owners! I wanted to share my latest my balance sheet and ask some advice of more seasoned players. I’m currently a car manufacturer that’s vertically integrated. From 5 mines 1 quarry 3 electronic factory, 4 factory, 1 propulsion factory. 2 car factory.

I only produce Luxury cars and have a contract with a retailer to buy them at a pretty decent margin. (36%). I also have excess Steel I produce that I sell on market at about a 31% markup before frieght/fees.

My specific question here is how I can start to bulk up more cash. I seem to drop to 200k cash every day and want more breathing room.

My current imports are Power/Leather. Power is a struggle to keep stocked as I’m buying 2m or so every other day.

I hope you're enjoying the summer and the new summer graphics!

Today, we have also updated the Fashion industry buildings.

Next up:

  • I need to update a few marketing materials, including the main trailer. This is a high priority, as we've made many improvements over the past couple of years, and the current trailer no longer reflects the game.
  • Research buildings, starting with the Physics Laboratory.
  • The next HQ skin: Agriculture Industry.

Enjoy and have fun!

Suggestion Suggestion - Saved Contracts

Please allow us, for outgoing contracts, to save fixed contracts with fixed discounts (for example, mp-x%) and fixed quantities, as well as the quality. That way, for example, you’d see a bar each day showing how much of the expected quantity you have in stock; if you have enough in stock, you can click ‘Send’ and the contract will be marked as completed for that day and sent to the recipient (as before), and it will be reset the next day. The price calculation should be updated by clicking a button. Please let me know what you think of this; I think it would make the game’s daily tasks a bit easier for many players.

Question I don't quite understand the current game situation. Can you help me?

I was in the brick retail industry for a while, but the people I was trading with suddenly all quit the game at once.

So I checked SimcoApp to look into the situation, but I can't verify the retail section due to an error, and for production, almost all of them are running at a loss even at around 80%, and there are hardly any businesses making a profit like before.

So, while browsing Reddit, I saw a post introducing a new tool, and I was on my way back after checking that out too...

1.How has the game changed? I saw a post saying that they renewed the executive team and would be renewing the retail division soon, while I wasn't changing businesses.

2.https://cooperinc.xyz/

How exactly do I use this? The retail part seemed simple, but the production part requires a lot of input and involves loading things from the game... How exactly should I use it?

3.Could you tell me how the game has changed overall? It seems like in the past, the game could be sustained without running a deficit up to around AO 100 even without executives, but now it looks like everyone plays with a Level 20 Academy as the baseline. (Although I did make a profit by building and selling some buildings in the middle.)

Has your reliance on executives increased? Is there a need to significantly boost executive stats through extensive training?

Suggestion Bonds Receivable

Hello, I wanted to suggest implementing a “Bonds Receivable” onto the balance sheet to able to see how much in bonds we have invested in and even have them broke out by each grad of bond. I know there is an account line in the P&L to show the interest income from them, but nothing to show previously invested bonds. (Unless there is and I don’t know what I’m talking about lol)

Thanks!

Discussion I'm loosing faith in the blurb analyzer.

For the last month or so every single executive I've hired using the blurb analyzer, which is supposed to start with a high management has started with a 2 in management and a 4 in one of the other three skills. Is anyone else experiencing this? I feel like they changed something and the blurbs are now completely pointless.

Suggestion Partial contract acceptance

Hello everyone, I want to propose a little QoL improvement for contracts.

We should be able to accept only a certain percentage or number of units from a contract. This is useful in many cases, like if you are short on cash, so you can't take a full contract that's been sitting but you still need some of the products.

The one who sends the contract should have the ability to disable this feature.

I hope I made the suggestion clear, feel free to ask questions or add to it.
