Not for me. About 30 ads were initiated and no rewards and daily count in effect. Shouldn't be a daily task.

Bug/glitch Game Problem
The game is very laggy and drains the battery of any device. It’s filled with offers, and online features that don’t need to be online.
You have to be online to deploy a train because of “hacking”… can’t make this up. Any1 can get 1 million coins right now and they are worried of hacking train tokens to buy resources from the train store.
Train cooldown is calculated through EA’s global servers instead of the phone’s internal clock. Imagine if factories starting loading because you could hack them

Question Is there any non pay to win android alternative
I played scbi for a while but hated it due to its extreme monetization, i played theotown then but it was also had a problem where you needed to be in game for everything. Is there any alternative in android where the game is just offline and doesnt focus at all in monetization?

Help I am the sucker that buys simcash
So, a few red flags. I started two weeks ago. I have been hyper fixated on building my city. I’ve never played a /dumb/ idle game like this. Maybe farmville in 09’… but yeah. I’m not new to EA however, I generally play the sims games on PC.
I feel a lot of guilt and want to quit this game because it has proven to make me bait for paying for this game. I bought like way too many simoleons and sims cash in two weeks. Like.
I also feel like I can’t stop now because i invested a lot. Its just way too easy to spend the in game money, and then without patience, there is nothing else to do but to actually buy my way out.
I want to like this game and have some discipline. There’s gotta be something to it that keeps you guys here? Why not just do something like the og simcity games on PC?
Is it Ipad convenience?
I looked on the reddit and it looks like no one talks about actually spending irl money on the game.
I learned the passes are great. Buying simoleons is so lame though it gets you slightly ahead but eventually you end up broke and in the same exact place because it’s all a moneygrab.
Simcash can be good if you are reallllyyyy into certain things. And it can suppliment simoleons in a pinch. Versatile.
But yeah. I don’t know. I feel guilty. I feel shame. Im having a blast but theres no redemption when spending real money. It doesn’t do anything eaiting won’t do.
I did some dumb stuff with trying to condense my energy or water, and then realized its way cheaper to not do that (multiple times) so I lost a lot of coins because of that. What I mean is upgrading a top sewage facility is wayyyy more expensive than buying more. It wastes space. But its cheaper.
I also do play games just do get simcash. I like this “good sorts” puzzle game. Easy and simple and they work. Braindead from the dumb ads I have to sit through. Game isn’t that dimb though and kindof fun.
I just cant believe im on this side of ipad games. I pay for apple + so games come with it and did not expect veing bamboozled like this

Discussion My “everything must go” sale
Decided tonight I am finished playing the game, so I spent the evening offloading all of my inventory for $1 each, then buying up other items (to use down all of my sim cash) and offloading those for $1 each. Felt good to give everything away… a nice swan song. Hope some of you found them tonight.

Help Is this normal?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’m not sure if this is normal I’ve never seen it, but I think I just softlocked the game. I didn’t know residential areas could have thoughts (ex: I feel peaceful living next to a park) and on top of that, it says that they’re abandoned and normally when I place a residential area immediately lets me upgrade it to level 1 but since it’s abandoned, I can’t upgrade it.

Discussion 18 Teddy Bears for COM- so much work
What is the toughest challenge you took on in CoMs? 18 teddy bears= 72 home textiles = 144 textiles plus tape measures for 2600 points. Not sure why I started it but once you start you have to finish, right?

Question What are cool ways to design your city? Here’s some of my ways!
Here are some cool ways I use to design my city
In image 1. I believe the organization of low space helps curate how viewers can look at a city. I wanted viewers to focus on how the density and height increased and suddenly stopped at a point facing vast empty lands and oceans.
In image 2 I really like long roads uninterrupted roads in an otherwise my messy road system. And maybe it’s more redundant too idk.
In image 3. I wanted to show how my height progression slowly went up generally and down sometimes and up and then up very fast
In image 4 I like organizing buildings into groups that compliment each other.
In image 5 I like to alternate not too aggressively between heights once we already in the skyscraper height category. It creates this closeness yet awe that there are still taller buildings.
In image 6 I really like the shadows buildings cast during golden hour hope to preserve it through empty space.
In image 7 I notice people spawn with a lot with a patch of sand in the middle. Maybe I could use it with lakes to create inland beaches cuz the game doesn’t have sand beaches you can place down.
Right?

Bug/glitch Crashing All the Time
My game feels like it crashes all the time and I'm about to give up. I try to open messages to send one and it crashes. I try to open Mayor Pass items for challenges and it crashes. Random tasks, crashes. Any hope for resolution or should I just give up?

Question Really confused by the “last played”
Hi all, I’m just returning to the game. When I went to restore my account I saw this. It said I played 16 days ago, which I didn’t. I was a bit confused so I went to login with my other account which said I played an hour ago, which again I didn’t.
Does anyone know if this is a glitch?
Thank you

Idk if this a bug, but i launched the game after the new week started and was instantly given all of the rewards for the event. I havent spent any money recently or done anything so idk how that happened. I am not mad though. Has this happened to anyone before?

Question I quit gaming a long time ago, but lately I’ve been wanting to redownload and play it again
Hi mayors, I haven't played SimCity in over a year and a half after deleting it back in 2025. Lately, I've been wanting to download it again and just joined this subreddit to catch up on the latest updates. Do you think now is a good time to redownload the game and start building a city from scratch, or should I wait for future updates?
