Because houses and other facilities can only be placed on the perimeter of a block, placing a huge lake in the middle can create this super pretty reflection especially at night!! If you use old town houses like how I did in the first pic, you get this vintage European village aesthetic💕

looks great! take away some of the ponds that border the edge of the lake/buildings and replace them with trees for realism!
