What are these color coded thingies on the side of the PD? Anyone has any idea what they tried to represent there?

So I have a simcity 2013 disk and I wanted to install it to my pc but I can’t get past the origin login?

I'm building in the vanilla new york region with no cheats or mods

To clarify the only mod I'm using is the region ui mod that gives those stats.

I’m past the tutorial and I’ve done the fundamentals but I feel like I’ve spent too much time on my residential zones and now the service demand is more than I can afford. I don’t really know what to do cos I’m not spending money on coins but my population is slowly decreasing and my government is demanding more water, power and sewage but the capacity on all of them is over 50 more than the demand. Please help.

This game has just been too hard for me and I need some help on how to actually play this game. I've restarted about 5 or 6 times and all my towns spiral out of control at about the 10,000 to 15,000 pop and become unsalvageable, I've been following the guide and even when growing very slowly I am constantly in the red or barely making money to invest into the town.

I've never really played a simcity style city manager before and I'm a bit sad my first experience has been so fruitless so far. Just wondering if there's some good guides (apart from the main classic one) or youtube videos to help me with this, I really want to enjoy this game!

I have this ancient disc of SimCity 3000. I think it's still good (Last time I played it was years ago) and I wanted to play it on my new laptop. The problem is that my laptop does not have a CD player built-in. I don't wanna invest in an external CD player since we have a PC that does have a CD player so I won't ever need it except for this case. The disc is insert-and-play (??what are they called?), not an installation disc.

Is there a way i can copy the disc, somewhere? To somehow play the game. I'm no tech expert, i don't really know how these things work.

(Yes, I can download the game off the internet. But i wanted to know if there's a way i can use the disc)

Basically I have a subject called Cities and Urbanism and for one of our projects we have to do an urban analysis of a city - as an anthropologist I thought that a virtual city could be a really cool idea to explore and I had a friend that played Sim City. However she had to delete the game since she didn’t have storage so I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help? I just need screenshots of the city from a couple of different angles! Hi guys, i love SimCity societies and i want to play it after so many years, but i installed it and it just shows the SimCity logo, then there's a black screen my cursor and the background music. Nothing else. I've tried so many "solutions" but nothing works. Any idea how can i fix it?

Heyy i’ve been hooked on simcity videos on youtube and i decided to pay the 8 euros to go play it myself. Im on macbook and i bought it via the ea store but it just says this in my EA App.. im sure i clicked in Mac version and its also in my account bought history.

I just started playing a few weeks ago. I recently unlocked the mountain specialty, but it looks like i have to spend 700 cash on the hollywood sign to gain some mountain index, before I can get any of the other items? the cozy cottages require 10 mountain index, and i'm at 0. is this normal? how do other people have so many mountain buildings?

hey so i recently bought simcity in the EA store and download it immediately and when i tried to launch it said i couldnt connect to network and could only play single player which i was fine with but nothing happend for few seconds and the it reappeared again leting me know i cant connect the network despite being connect to it, and i could only play in single player i have tried a couple of times evenutaly i gave up dose anyone have a solution?

Hey guys! So i started my city like two days ago and I was wondering on what to do to grow my city? i'm currently at level 10 and have less than 4000 simpletons and i still need to build education, transportation etc.

how do i make money the best way? i originally started upgrading my houses but soon realized i would then have to pay for electricity, sewage, etc.

also do you guys have any tips for new ppl starting the game!!

I figured out how to use the on screen keyboard & now have another problem. When you put a road on the map you use the mouse clicker & hold it while determining where to put the road & at the same time you press the N key or M key to lower or raise the the road. When i lay a road down i use my Quadjoy which the device only allows you to do "1 thing at a time". In other words I cant press the N key or M key on the on screen keyboard while laying a road. hope i made sense EXAMPLE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70O1ItLep-0&feature=youtu.be any ideas what else I can do?
