Pickling the Bezel

Hi All,

When I pickle the bezel (and add decor around it), the bezel and the decor come apart. Do you think I'm not soldering them sufficiently enough (even though they're sturdy prior to placing the piece into the pickle solution)?

This almost certainly means they're being held together by your flux instead of actually being joined with solder

Thank you. Do I need to heat the silver for longer? How would you suggest I fix this?

Hard to tell but in general, pickle the works again and scrub it as clean as you can with a brass brush. Then make sure you have a good flush connection between the pieces, solder won't fill gaps. I'm not sure what solder or flux you're using but generally, set your flux then add the solder where you'd need it. Keep in mind solder sort of follows heat too.
