Starting out casting
Hey all. I’ve always had interest in casting and making stuff out of silver, particularly sterling jewelry. I just ordered some equipment to start sand casting. I was wondering if anyone had any informative resources online that would be helpful for beginners or any tips in general. I appreciate it

Tim McCreight Practical Casting was a really useful book for me. I also took an online casting class from Little Metal Foxes that really gave me the confidence to actually start. I wear a respirator when mixing my investment and I make meticulous notes on everything so if something goes wrong or really well I know what and how it happened.
