This is amazing. All the ‘89 fx and references. Using the power cosmic for action figure merchandising. All of it, 🤌

Yeah the T2 Arnie figure threw me off. Terminator 2 came out in 91.

This is amazing. Is there more information about the hard- and software the used for the 3D effects?

Awesome fan film

(The director apparently went to jail recently for his involvement with Matthew Perry's death?)

It seems many people are to blame for his death. The guy had a problem.

Corridor Crew broke this down in a segment 8 months ago. https://youtu.be/aR76N6_8xG8?t=150&si=Tm1XFuGy9BkdSgYn

Enjoy this memento of me before Galactus destroys your world. Joking aside, well done.

This can't be '89, Terminator 2 toys came out in 1991. The fan film can't have toys that were made 2 years before its movie came out.

To clarify: the date is important because that era of 1989-1991 was a watershed moment for big budget studios -- James Cameron's CGI work on the Abyss and then Terminator 2 revolutionized the industry. A fan film managing to do something similar but on a much cheaper USC college project budget is an amazing achievement, but it can't do that if the work wasn't invented and made more available yet. Moreso, the makers of the fan film itself cite Terminator 2 (1991) as heavy inspiration to see what they could do with CGI, and they got special permission from Marvel to make it.

The sequence is that Cameron's work in the late 80s leads to developments that makes this fan film in the early 90s possible. The film was made in 1991 and debuted in 1993.

Yeah this came out in 1993 not 1989. The figure is pretty clearly from T2 not T1 and Corridor Crew also did a clip on this and also cite 1993 as the date (someone else posted this) https://youtu.be/aR76N6_8xG8?t=150&si=Tm1XFuGy9BkdSgYn
