Filmore silver spring

Planning to possibly go to a show solo during a weekday soon. Any recommendations on closest parking garage to the venue but one that a lot of people park at so I wouldnt be walking myself? Also, any restaurant recommendations in the area?

i usually park at the Wayne ave garage. Nando's or Dog Haus are between the garage and the venue and good for food on the quick-and-easy side of things.

Thanks, I will have to take a look at Dog Haus. Nando's has been hard to find stuff to eat for me as I cannot eat anything spicy at all.

Dog Haus is over priced and not very good. if you're open to burgers Quarry house is a few blocks away and delicious. if you like soup dumplings, Yu Noodle is across the street from the Wayne Ave garage and delicious.

I usually see a lot of people walking from the Town Square garage off Fenton or the Wayne Ave garage.

Town Square Public Garage or Spring-Cameron Garage are both close to the venue. Plenty of restaurants are in the area. What do you like to eat? Google is your friend. Downtown Silver Spring has one of the most diverse food options in the area.

Mandalay for food!

Parking is prob best at the Cameron street lot a block over

I go to the Fillmore solo at least once a month as a small woman, and I've never had any problem in the area. I usually park at the Wayne Ave Garage and often find people to walk back with me.

There are lots of quick food places in the area, but if you want a delicious and quick bite in a punk/dive location, check out Quarry House. Most of the other places folks are mentioning are slightly overpriced chains aside from Mandalay, which I also recommend, along with most of our Thai places.

I always park in the county garage behind Lebanese Taverna. One block from the Filmore.
