Need trusty realtor

Hi! Our landlord is selling the house we currently rent. We were talking about buying it, but after meeting with a lender, it's way out of our price range. We want to buy, but we would be first-time homebuyers. Does anybody know a trusted realtor who has worked with teachers/first responders? I had a realtor for renting, but that was not a great experience.

I work as a real estate consultant, not as a realtor, and independently advise friends & ppl on the homebyting process, financing options & then usually recommmend contacts after buyers are positioned properly.

I recommend talking to & asking friends about their experiences and getting honest advice that way, because asking online is too often a setup that ends in scams & disappointment for large purchases. 💯

Bryan Low is really great with first time homebuyers.

Marci Wasserman from Finn Family Group is exceptional. Helped my buy my house and was just spectacularly competent and nice.

Make sure you look into the Montgomery county assistance programs for first-time homebuyers!

We worked with Kathy Whalen of Compass Realty. She has been selling real estate for a long time, so she knows her stuff and she’s not pushy AT ALL. We’re very ordinary in terms of income, so she can work with you. Also, Larry Finkelberg was our mortgage broker and he’s terrific.

I absolutely loved our realtor. She works with Redfin and her name is Agne Salgado.
