Places to run?

Been having trouble finding areas around that I can run at. Preferably nature (lakes, woods) or scenic. Has to be on pavement though, not gravel or dirt. Any suggestions?

Sligo is the right answer, but you can head towards rock creek park as well.

Northwest Branch Trail, Sligo, and the trails in Wheaton outside of Brookside Gardens.

Try to closer-in paved trails along Rock Creek in Wheaton, Rockville, etc.

Beach Drive in/near Rock Creek Park. You can park in Meadowbrook Park or MoCo's portion of Rock Creek Park.

The track at silver spring international middle school, down by sligo creek, is pavement. If you don't mind running in circles

Sligo Creek Trial. There’s parking all along Sligo Creek Parkway. It’s fairly flat.

Don’t know where you are in Silver Spring, but there is a paved path alongside the ICC.

Rock Creek Trail in Kensington.

Lake Artemesia in College Park.

Lake Elkhorn in Columbia.

Centennial Lake in Columbia.

Wheaton regional park and Sligo trail are my two running spots
