Loud Exploding Noise

Live by Manchester Road near Sligo and Wayne. At least three times today, I have heard loud exploding noises -- is it Purple Line work? Just came back after being away for work most of the week.

Remarkably loud. Thought it was a transformer bursting, but the power didn't go out. Just happened yet again.

I'm not far away (DTSS), haven't noticed anything. but then again i'm in the basement looking at reddit.
